After commenting "I'm going"... I went! The waiting line outside was long (~18 people) but the take-out service at the register inside was instant!👍 Back home it was very delicious, and due to the thick katsu there were left-overs that were still good after a light toasting to regain the crispiness. I will go back. Thank you for the video SugoUma, 凄くうまかった!!

i am heading there in september. can you please help me understand with the takeout - does that mean once you were inside after waiting in the line the take out was able to be ordered, or can you head in past the line for takeout and order without waiting? thank you!
@nathanalgren5247
10 ай бұрын
@@luke-xz1gb Yes, you can skip past the people waiting in line and go straight inside to the small register on the left and order your take-out. I went back (again!) the other day and also got the katsu 'sando' (sandwich) that was very tasty.

I was there last week. It was unbelievably delicious. It totally changes my mind about how good tonkatsu can be.
Now that is what i call a meal, Love the Giant pork cutlet.
Oh my god, I can almost feel the taste in my mouth looks sooo good
Why I decided to watch this when I'm fasting is beyond me, that looks so good🤤🤤🤤🤤
Everything there looked great. It just kept getting better and better.
Oh man, if I ever visit Japan, I am definitely coming here!
This is the real pork cutlet...I love Japanese Katsu don 🤤
These people are like dancers, the preparation of food is like choreographed dance moves. Their focus on cleanliness, details and presentation is amazing to watch.
Absolutely delicious!!!
i think that this video is so amazing, congratulations!!
You can’t really put a fitting price tag on something this special in my opinion. Looks so damn delicious

Wonder how much it cost now. 14 bucks seems like a great deal
神奈川県の新松田駅付近にもありますが「極厚」を頼んで食べましたが3切れ残してしまいました。持ち帰り用のタッパーも有りますしとても満足しました。サンドイッチも極旨でした。正式には焼きカツ丼です。 There is one near Shin-Matsuda Station in Kanagawa Prefecture, but I ordered the "extreme thickness" and ate it, but I left 3 slices. I was very satisfied with the Tupperware for takeout. The sandwich was also excellent. It's officially a grilled cutlet bowl.
That looks so good. I really want to visit here if I can ever visit the country to try this
Looks SO amazing. One of the cutlet bowls would feed me for 2 days. Well worth the price, a very reasonable price
I just got back from Japan and went to Chiyomatsu while in Osaka. I'm going back in the fall and hit will definitely hit this place this place up.

I've never seen a pork cutlet this thick. It's really amazing.
Looks so yummy, it's driving me crazy! 🤤
For people said it’s pricey, from where I’m from, I’d say for that portion, it’s already cheap. If it’s here, it’d cost like $25 or something for a bowl.

Hello SugoUma Japan! I must say, your video showcasing "Tonkatsu Marushichi," the restaurant with the most giant pork cutlet bowl in Japan, is absolutely amazing. The size of that Katsu-don is truly impressive! I can understand why it has garnered over 2 million views. The presentation and the quality of the dish look top-notch. looks sooo good!
I gotta say that this makes me hungry! There's a couple of things regarding the sandwiches though... To begin, I was under the impression that Japanese had crustless bread so I was sorta surprised to see them cutting off the crusts. Secondly, when the crust is cut off, some of the meat is also cut off. Do they reuse the meat scraps or simply dispose of them?
@ksham.
8 ай бұрын
I think dispose unless the employees want free bites. There can't be anything else on the menu that use them.

Great job on the video and the food looks good I’m trying to make it at home what is the breading you using and the sauce at the end please and thank you..
It looks delicious and I'd absolutely want to try it. I'm just always nervous with going into restaurants because my Japanese is elementary level and if I walk in there and they ask me something I didn't prepare for or don't know, I might as well just die

The difference as far as I'm aware is that in America, our "side dishes" are the size of the full meal of other nations, so this 300g pork cutlet is 10oz, served with a bowl of rice and 2-3 eggs, a hearty meal, but at an American steakhouse, you have a 12oz steak, a pile of mashed potatoes, pile of vegetables, and this is after a salad, some bread, and all before desert. Don't get me wrong I love katsu, I make a chicken katsu bowl that has half an onion per bowl that adds a nice sweetness to it. but Americans really do do things big and we do them often. In Japan people have to work hard to get to Sumo weight, in America we have to work hard to not be at Sumo weight :) you should totally learn to make katsu yourself, it's remarkably easy once you try it out kzread.info/dash/bejne/jJp6mduNksaalrw.html

"big" in Japan certainly is something else than big in Vienna-for a Schnitzel. In Vienna a normal sized Schnitzel overlaps your dinner plate, but there are also XXL versions of that.
