@@basilsini9739 it's very hard to play a safety here that doesn't leave one of the reds available for the opponent. Ideally you'd probably want to play a soft shot here to put the cue ball near the reds in bottom left. However, the yellow ball is blocking that avenue. This shot was not only a clever idea on how to put the red there in a different way, but also technically difficult (the rotation he played here is not easy to pull off with this much control).

If you enjoy this sort of play - you will like my PC Snooker game - quicksnooker.com - It's been 20 years in the making - and has the physics and rules to make all of these shots possible - playing online against other people you will get to appreciate the strategy and skill involved in the game. Something makes me smile in every frame I play, and if you prefer you can play any of 14 'AI' computer opponents - getting them to play plausible 'intelligent' Snooker (rather than just a potting rampage) was one of the biggest challenges.

For people saying they know nothing about snooker you just have to follow 2 steps: 1) First you pot a ‘red’ ball THEN any colour and so on. 2) When red balls are finished you pot colour balls.(every colour ball is worth some points starting from 2 to 7 so you pot lowest one first and end it by potting highest one last) Now if you’re following the above 2 steps and you missed a pot and the other player isn’t able to follow the above steps or is having difficulty in doing so, that is considered a good shot by you. Ps: My bad if I missed something,I’ll edit it later once the missed part is pointed out.

Yeah, next shot sometimes would be nice, for examle Selby's shot was made, when the score was 39-70 and it just might be irrelevant if he hasnt farmed enough points with it
This is a really good video. Very original content and thrilling to watch
Sad to hear Willie Thorne on the commentary now. RIP

We can't ignore how well executed that safety shot was from Stuart Bingham 5:39 🎯 💯 💪🏿
What a collection, learned alot from it

It was good to see so many safety shots as well as pots and snookers.
I feel like every shot in a perfect game should be included in this compilation.
this is chess with a cue stick, unbelievable good. I don't know why snooker is not more popular :- º
Brilliant great snooker you really know the game.
more of this please
If you enjoy this sort of play - you will like my PC Snooker game - quicksnooker.com - It's been 20 years in the making - and has the physics and rules to make all of these shots possible - playing online against other people you will get to appreciate the strategy and skill involved in the game. Something makes me smile in every frame I play, and if you prefer you can play any of 14 'AI' computer opponents - getting them to play plausible 'intelligent' Snooker (rather than just a potting rampage) was one of the biggest challenges.
Mark Williams and Ding are giving me such good vibes - I bet they are very humble human beings

I met Williams at a exhibition, chilled guy also loves a gamble 😂
"He's played the wobble.."
It’s just mind boggling. The sheer talent, the absolute magic!!!! I mean, it’s only Newtonian physics but these men turn it into a complete art!!! Respect and admiration from me! I bow my head to your magic.
You only got to play on a full sized table for an hour to truly appreciate the quality on show here !
I don't think I've ever seen a shot like a 1:19 where one both tries to create a snooker , use a ball as a cushion, an canon said color to break off the pack of reds.
great job gt, thanks
Smashing content.
Superb compilation 👍🏻
Seeing these shots is a talent in itself pulling them off is verging on the miraculous..
Love this for real
I go to lounge and play pool for first time and I get endless recommendations of this lol.
Great video, it passed so quick
The last shot is an absolute genius
this is the best video ever "FOR SNOOKER"
Idk wtf is happening but 👏👏
I'm not sure why YT recommended this video. I think Snooker is a load of balls.
Absolutely astonishing snooker..
By seeing these snooker vidoes I feel sometime, oh yes I am understanding the rules of the game n sometimes getting confused by thinking what they are trying to do..😂😂
11:24 flattest cue tip I've ever seen in professional snooker.

He's not the only one who's used a flat tip - Marco Fu and Stephen Hendry rock that style too. Although I don't think I've ever seen any others have the tip larger than the ferrule...

@@indyandherjones i vaguely remember Ebdon having a tip larger than the ferule... Or maybe it was mushrooming and he didnt shape it... Something like that... Edit: just got to that part of the video and it is Ebdon 😂

It’s a very nice selection from WST
Tuyệt quá, giọng Phúc ấm áp quá

That maguire shot off the middle knuckle...
That shot from Murphy 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Drinking water in style after those applause is not total smugness at all. These poor guys walked 5 miles uphill in the snow and were just tired! 😎😜👀😛
Seeing the shot is the first step, convincing yourself that you can do it, is the second, and almost hardest; but doing it makes it beautiful. GT, I'll subscribe if you upload "Literally Snooker" again. Why the feck is that not on KZread anymore?
Good compilation. Thank you
9:03 is when ronnie plays
I have no idea whats going on here but im entertained
Great shot from higgins
Mcguire shot off the knuckle to split reds. Pure dead brilliant big man
When u play snoker your thinking is automatically grome and you play shot very well as like😍
Why do I even bother watching this when I have no idea what a good Snooker shot is? And why am I doing it at 2 am instead of sleeping?

If you know anything about pool you should pickup on it pretty easily. Most of these shots are defensive and the goal is to either hide from a cherry and once all of those are gone hide them from the lowest value ball on the table because I think you have to make them lowest to highest in value.

It's not just about potting balls, it's about getting points she stopping your opponent from potting balls
@Tomwithnonumbers
Жыл бұрын
In snooker you get points if you opponent fails to make a legal move. So there's places where it's better to create a difficult shot for your opponent than pot.
Once I looked up the rules of snooker this became very impressive
OK, some of those shots were really smart. Even after they were played I had trouble figuring out how they did it!
15:03 is the best shot in this video
I was waiting for Shaun Murphy's shot Vs Ronnie.. nevertheless nice compilation!!

I don't regard that shot as clever. But it is a good hit - a really nice pot.
Exhibition shots are what players under pressure resist under stressful times, practicing they wouldn't think twice.
15:02 - Amazing !!!
10:20 I really like this shot, first time I saw it.
Sean Murphy's 7 cushion pot of the yellow in the last clip can be found in another video! :)
The very last shot on here gets my vote of being the best of them all.
I wonder if they did it in purpose 😅 those snooker too beautiful to see.
thats gonna be a totally different scene when i play it with my friends XD. MORE POWERFUL!! ONE SHOT TO THE HOLE
Amazing

Does the shot at 6.30 not leave a relatively easily plant which would set Williams up to the green and then clearing up?
