It’s the tight safeties and escapes that often deliver a frame winning chance.

I knocked in a 108 on a lineup a couple of days ago and I’m not even in the same galaxy as Ronnie. This practice routine is fairly standard for any decent player

At some shots he pulls back the cue far, almost risking getting caught behind his thumb. But he is Gilbert O’Sullivan. He knows what he is doing 🤓

Really? It will be an ash cue, made by John Parris. If you noticed, he plays most of this practice screwing or stunning the cue ball, that does always sound higher pitched, as you're pushing it through the whole weight of the cue ball, whereas with top spin, or just plain ball you're just rolling the cue ball through rather than striking it low.

So snooker 101=you have to pot a red, then any color (different colors have different points), and then a red and then a color Goal is to amass more points then your opponent

I think that's the general idea when practicing. If you aren't happy with the shot you just did, re-do it right away while you have a feel for what you did so you can correct it in the next attmot(s).

He has hundreds of 147's in practice. He's just warming up and getting used to the table. If he was fully locked in he probably be potting for hours without ever miss a pot

He's trying to work out the speed of the table the bounce of the coushins the nap of the cloth, there's a reason it's called practice, why would he stress about potting them all, I'll send you links to the 15 tournament 147s that he didn't miss a shot if you like

That‘s normal practice and you are not able to write his name correctly. Good job.

Yeah, his practice is that "unbelievable" that he has to keep moving the white ball to where he wanted it.

I also think he's the greatest. But have to admit he ran out of position quite a few times there, had a few recovery reds in the middle to get back to black and continue the bottom half of the reds. And the green to brown wasn't great either.... But I suppose that's what practice is for... I'd like to see him play this routine going first all reds below the pink with blacks and then all reds above the pink with blues.... Will be a little more challenging

What an exaggerated comment this is to make. There's nothing wrong with the camera at all plus it's a human being holding it, not a tripod.. what else did you expect? Not only that you just had to nit pick the description too. My point . Anybody can lose on the day ,but not everybody gets whitewashed 9-0 in a long format. Stephen Hendry was whitewashed 9-0 by Marcus Campbell in 1997 DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH

His practice is as bad as his playing the game, just horrible jk lol the goat just amazing skills and talent and hard work genius I read one time even at his level and number one in the world he would go to basement with a cup of tea and practice for 8 hours cuz he wants to stay at the top and possibly learn more not sure what more a master can when he's really on his game

Such a painfully boring "sport". Imagine doing this same monotony for hours every day.
