He's got 206 videos on his playlist, if we assume that one in four videos he enters a scenario where he says it (this is actually VERY generous) then he has 51 1/2 from that. Then we just add however many times he's heard/said it in stuff that needed re-recording or in response to/in a movie/show/game/video and we get close to the actual amount of tea he likely has IRL! (provided he DOES stockpile like I suspect and drinks tea like a person in a desert drinks water)

Can’t reinstate her now

This really shows how long in advance Spiff records some of his videos. The game has 12 waves now (out of the planned 20), most items have been re-balanced, and I'm pretty sure most of these bugs have been fixed. Whether or not new bugs have been introduced, I have no idea. For context, the patch that fixed the multiple gun exploit was deployed on Jun 13, over a month before this video was posted. Still neat, and it's simple videos like this in Spiff's backlog that probably lets him take actual breaks or plan out more time intensive videos.

Can confirm we record this one in the steam next fest. Other projects took priority over it though :( Most videos can take anywhere from 1 week to 4 weeks to turn around for release. Sometimes when it's sponsored stuff we turn it around faster

I think I see the issue here. This seems amazing because you have never experienced an American potato. as an American I can personally vouch for the lethality of our potatoes. Just the other day I saw a bunch of kids playing with a potato that had 35 guns.

At this point VS has dropped quite a few stops down on my favorites list for the genre - and many of the games I already consider better haven't even begun actually SELLING their game, just providing free preview demo - like this game here.

This is one of the earliest genres around, all the way back to the arcade. Even the artstyle of Vampire Survivors is reflecting it as a wink to the past. Top down bullet hell games and roguelike level-up structures are pretty common in modern day, even before Vampire Survivors reignited the trend.

Game: Do you want attack speed, more damage, extra ammo or armor? Potato: Mama needs a bigger sniffer.

You do know there are guns in Britain right? As there are in Australia and most other countries. We just aren't potatoes. We choose not to kill eachother with them, and instead use them to hunt animals for food, or shoot targets for sport that aren't our neighbours. It's amusing how Americans think other countries don't have guns just because we have extremely low gun crime. We just aren't a 3rd world hole in the ground with a broken education system and a failing economy.

Interesting that despite the 6 gun limit there are 7 guns animated when you exceed the limit. So apparently, 7 is possible under certain circumstances. Or else there's an array boundary bug in the graphics code. Beyond the one that lets you get 20+ guns in the first place.

It looks to me like the devs' code attaches the gun at a default position when it's collected, and then assigns that gun to one of the 6 slots. When those 6 slots are occupied, there isn't a slot to assign it to, so any further guns remain at the default position. You can see that the additional gun isn't distributed like the other 6, it's attached closer to the potato. As far as the scrollbar, many pre-made list display assets will automatically make a scrollbar if the list gets too big for the window.

To answer this one of the Potato’s if I remember can either carry 8 or 12 I can’t remember exactly but it does explain the scroll wheel. It doesn’t add any more gun models besides the extra for the default position

He simply does not carry them at all, they are instead fused to his body via robotic arms that aim and fire them in any direction. The robots are obviously powered through the potato itself, harnessing the classic science experiment for highly effective and deadly warfare, in true American fashion 😝😉

Minor correction: While 6 is the maximum amount of guns most potatoes can carry, there are some special potatoes that can carry up to 12 guns.

After the video I checked on my potatoes. It looked rather suspicious. They were wearing black masks, gloves, had empty sport bags and guns. When they suddenly looked at me, I backed up slowly.

I don't think standing on the spawn killed you, if anything, it was probably the negative lifesteal. You dealt all that massive damage to yourself.

I'd be interested in seeing what you could do with Crimsonland. It's like this game but far more intense. It's also pretty damn hard to exploit.

This reminds me of a side character in a web comic I found who got something that boosted their luck, which meant that they found more luck-boosting items until they could run into battle naked, not be hit, and could kill anything coming after them with a boulder that randomly showed up and killed their enemy (well that was lucky!). Other characters used him to figure out where they needed to go and where treasure was.
