Just to make clear what is happening: the game has a scale of how many people you are supposed to have in your colony - both colonists and prisoners - at this level of wealth. If you exceed this number, the "instakill" mechanic kicks in, making it so a downed enemy, regardless of the lethality of weapon used, is killed instead with a pretty high probability. If you don't like it - you can use custom storyteller difficulty and adjust the instakill probability slider all the way to 0.

Rimworld is by nature not family friendly. You either end up mass murdering, enslaving, organ harvesting, or drug producing at least once in a playthrough. Not to mention cannibalising. Btw in my current game, both my cats and both my dogs got literal blackout drunk on alcohol. One cat got liver cancer, the other got brain damage. One of the dogs was pregnant :/ The liver cancer cat is now an alcoholic.

in vanilla rimworld there is a 60% or something chance of non colonists to instantly die from the knockout blow it's in order to balance recruiting too easily you can always make a nice hat and soilent green for your prisoners :)

I desperately want more of this colony, you playing RimWorld (this video specifically) is what introduced me to the game, I watched and immediately bought it 🤣🤣

That's the problem with technology, most of the time you're just expected to know how to use it. Sometimes a setting of 1 will glass a planet, sometimes it's just a light show.

It's an important thing to prove that you're a valuable asset as is, otherwise... well he'll find other ways to make you "valuable"

In one of my RimWorld games, I used to kidnap all of the survivors who raided my base. I would harvest all of their organs except for one. I would only harvest one of his kidneys, decapitate his legs, and replace his legs with wooden stumps. I would then set him free to go back to his home as a warning.

Got me back into rimworld after a fair while not playing. It’s like every time I go back I realise how much I enjoyed it, it’s a great game with a good replay value. Highly recommend it. Please do more rimworld vids! This is great, a lot of laughs were had, thoroughly enjoyed.

I feel like we need another episode for more organ harvesting

Ah rimworld. The one game where I actually indulge my psychopathic tendencies without a care. Any other game I go out of my way to be the good guy. The hero. The does everything for everyone he possibly can out of the good will of my heart cause that's just how I like to play! ... Not here. In rimworld. The only mercy enemies have is that I haven't thought of something worse to do to them YET.

Me and a couple of friends made a campaign we called “Crimes of Moral Turpitude” in which we played Crimes Against Humanity Simulator 2016, more commonly known as RimWorld.

"This is a warcrime simulator..." More broadly, I'd say it's a psychopathy simulator. Speaking of which, my organ-harvesting outfit needed psychopaths to run it in order to not tank everyone's mood from plying our trade. Methinks I haven't dug up all the right mods yet...

You can edit the story tellers to force traits on your colonists , npcs or everyone. So you can make the whole world cannibal , psychopath etc. You can also increase the trait slots characters have so if you force those 2 traits you can make it so that everyone has at least 3 traits and max 5 traits where 2 of them becomes psychopath and cannibal etc..

my ascetic cannibal is really enjoying life out on the ice sheet, he's got transport pod crashes every day so some nice raw human meat xD also he's got a few lady friends with him...both of which I think are incapable of violence

Theirs a few that make harvesting either a very small negative or even a buff I run a death cult and they love having visitors...the irony is the empire loves us because we only ever mess with their enemies

Your videos help me go to sleep, not that they're boring cuz I rewatch them when I wake up lol but the consistency, smooth entertainment and lack of constant yelling, and lots of talking really makes me comfortable

All we need are several elephants and copious amounts of lava, and we've got ourselves a party.

Looks like for 2021 Spiff is stepping back into his old, familiar crimes against humanity.

You go out into the woods to hunt some game for your family back home. Then 2 individuals come out from behind a tree and one of em hits you with a tazer. You lose consciousness and wake up later in a cell. The door opens and you're told "get to work, organ donor!"
