In terms of GDP It stands at 3rd Richest city of India with 155 Billion USD even without A good established IT sector of India.. Lifestyle is moderate here which means A person who is earning 30k or 15 k can survive or person earning 300k will thrive..Without any support from the Central Govt It still maintains the 3rd Richest tag after Mumbai and Delhi..Safest city of India for straight five years.. It is way above than Hyderabad, Banglore and Chennai in terms of vibes and fun to have in city. I agree that so called Corporate life is not good , Also large migration of People from UP and Bihar, Jharkhand also have ruined the cleanliness of the city.

Hello, Indian here!! Avoid going to Delhi and Agra. Go to Kerala, Goa, Mysore, Puducherry, Manali, Gangtok, Bangalore, etc.

Mac, I would urge you to visit the Himalayas in India. That's a part of our country which I just can't describe in mere words.... it's magical! I think you ve already visited Darjeeling which is a wonderful hill station. But there are lots of other hill stations and offbeat places in the Himalayan mountains which you can explore.

Reflected back my Kolkata diaries in back 2017-18 i spend my Christmas and new year over there,i miss Newtown ecospace.hope to visit again love from Nagaland India.
