The Misunderstood Psychology of Felicia ‘Snoop’ Pearson From The Wire

If one we’re to be raised in an environment surrounded by nothing other than drugs, murder, and un forgiveness… could one be blamed for making a living, out of nothing other than drugs, murder, and un forgiveness?
Yes, it is finally out, sorry to keep you all waiting, I had a problem with my SSD - hard drive - but hopefully the quality of this video makes up for the wait. 🙏🙏

David Simon didn’t find her. Michael K Williams met her in his off set time and helped her get the opportunity with The Wire

I think Snoop was VERY understood lol everyone has a story but she was essentially just a bully looking to gravitate to a bigger bully (Marlo) who could give her more victims to bully. That was very evident in the way she treated and viewed Michael. “You were never one of us.” Because Michael wasn’t a bully like them, he was someone who stood up for the ones being bullied, that’s why he never fit in with them, never understood them.

@@ButtersCCookie thank you. I’d also like to add Chris also was the type who stood up for the bullied. When they were locked up and everyone was singling out Mike, Chris defended him, even when Mike killed Snoop Chris still defended him and didn’t hold it against him. He understood Mike whereas the others considered his being different meaning he was a traitor. Smh. I loved their friendship omg.

@@Yvanehtnioj2000hell even Marlo defended him cuz he knew Mike was a standup man but as a leader who was literally locked up he knew someone had to go and Mike was unfortunately singled out

@@asdghhjkkwoowri Marlo didn’t defend Michael he literally put the hit on him because they were telling him about how unruly Michael was (in their eyes), you’re thinking about Chris. He was the only one in that crew who stood up for Michael in that moment. Marlo genuinely thought he was telling on them because only their inner circle would know and only him and Snoop were the only others who were not in jail and so Marlo of course targeted Michael. Remember before they say Michael they say Snoop and Marlo’s like no. But then they mention Michael and Marlo’s like, kill him

@asdghhjkkwoowri Marlo didn't decide to kill Mike just because "someone had to go." He thought Mike was the only logical one that could've snitched. Marlo even had doubts that Mike was snitching, but he didn't want to take that chance, unfortunately.

That’s definitely a cool way of looking at her; this is the snoop in an alternate reality if she never started acting

I took snoops look at Chris as she was disappointed that he cared. Like she used to think they were alike in having no emotion about killing, but this was your role model breaking character in what you idolize him for

Perhaps, however there are several scenes where Snoop scolds Michael for not appreciating Chris’s praise, but it’s a nice outlook tbf, makes you view her very differently if true

Snoop, like Slim, Chris and others was a soldier but I consider her just a little more so. I say this because if you look back, she's mainly the only one who really, generally states that when you join an outfit, you do as your told, without question.

They aren't more mature. The characters are written that way. The kids in stranger things is plenty mature for their age. Heck, I'd lose against the KGB now let alone at age 12 lol.
