Our schedule was soft as hell, reminded me of Pittsburgh from a few yrs back, when everyone was lauding them for their wins as opposed to looking at the losses - Tua's taken a HUGE leap forward these past two seasons but it's our OLine that has me concerned

Im a die hard Dolphins fan. It's so hard to say what will happen this year. We lost some VERY key components of our team. Especially on defense, not to mention a brand new DC . I think our offense will do its thing but the defense is going to be a big question mark. Time will tell.

I think the only real weakness that Tua has is arm strength. I believe he was clocked at 54 MPH and from video of him in practice it seems he maxes out at 55 to 60 yards in the air. It is a bit of a problem because his receivers are so fast, and have such incredible acceleration, that if they get off the line without being bumped in the first five yards, by the time Tua hits his back foot on a seven-step drop, he can’t throw far enough so they don’t have to wait for the ball on deep routes. But Tua’s release and accuracy on short-to-intermediate routes is World Class, and he is pretty nifty in the pocket to avoid pressure. But I wonder, is there anything Tua can do to just bump up his arm strength a bit? Even five more yards might be enough.

I don't hate Odell but the dolphins need a good deep threat. They already have two good route receivers. But look if they don't play above expectations to be big time winners they need a new QB. Tua situation reminds me of dak with the cowboys all the yards but they won't move forward to the next level. Will never forgive the Dolphins for answering the Bills playoff prayers. Not that they did well or anything. But its in part thanks to thissorry team people act like the bills are still relevant.

Dolphins lost too many players on Defense and will lose games because of it. Reminds me of Raiders & Chargers couple years ago scored a lot of points but gave up more than they scored🤷🏽

As a 49 year Dolphins fan don’t go down this route. Tua is not the future don’t condemn us to another 5 years of mediocrity. At best he’s above average certainly not top 5. Last year ( his standout season 😂 ) he went missing in the tough games.

Realistically, I think Tua is going to be playing his fifth year option. His injury concerns from previous seasons are still going to remain even if he stays healthy, but more importantly, you lost a fan favorite and key defender in Wilkins. Granted they couldn’t overpay him, but are they about to overpay Tua? Is Tua a $50mil+ QB? He has stats and good W/L ratio but look closely at the competition. Most of the wins came against losing teams, even stemming back from 2021 with Flores which you can argue was more about the defense than Tua. Cap is going to increase drastically the following season - Tua should earn that top dollar contract and Miami shouldn’t be forced to pay this season and risk a fallout.

Only a minute and a half in and gotta say I appreciate a good Easter egg behind visuals. Mentioning the team getting picked apart in free agency while showing Wilkins sacking Carr as a reference to the team who signed is 🔥👌🤌
