Know what would be cool? A list of every known planes walker + all of their versions and cards

Hi I’m new to MTG, and I’d love to see some timeline videos for the lore of this game.

It is very long and convoluted. MTG is very old, and just like other "ancients" of nerd culture like D&D and Warhammer, constantly suffers from retcons and continuity errors. Also, since It's a cardgame launched worldwide, there's also mistranslations, banned cards, etc. It's not entirely impossible to do, but It's a challenge nontheless, would take several weeks just for a script to be written.

9:29 What, no mention of Karn's creator, Urza, one of the greatest figures in pre-mending MTG where he was regarded as the greatest artificer who ever lived in Dominaria, the plane where MTG was first set in. Urza made his name as a mortal fighting a calamitous war against his younger brother Mishra who had become enthralled by the Phyrexians. The war ended with a temporary separation of Dominaria from the rest of the multiverse and caused Urza to ignite as one of the most significant planeswalkers of his time. He was even a mentor to Teferi at one time, a name some might find familiar. Urza's subsequent war against the Phyrexians and their Hod ultimately resulted in his death and Karn's ascension as a planeswalker. Karn basically inherited Urza's mantle as a planeswalker. 9:43 Wait, Karn a pacifist? That ended real quickly when he had to kill a Phyrexian sleeper (or attempt to) in Old Tolaria.

I suppose they meant 'printed' since I feel they missed a few, Urza will always be my fav.

Koira? I thought it was read as Ki-yo-ra

@@ayom5600 there's book? Do u mean the novel or a how to play there are both and theros is a relatively order set however the story is good and sonderd bond (features lukka before he's a planeswalker) very good and fairly recent

Ajani Goldmane is easily my favorite planeswalker. Chandra would take 2nd place, and Teferi would be 3rd.

Ok I don't get why you sometimes use base color of planeswalker and sometimes new colors. Like Ajani was a mono white and becale green white, so you choose green white, but garuk was mono green and becale green black and you chose mono green ?

Yeah, Kiora got me. But that's kind of a long-running trait of this channel. They never research pronunciation and ALWAYS say things wrong.

Having several close friends (not to mention relatives) who work for Wizards of the Coast, I cringe a little at some of your pronunciations, but otherwise this is a great video.

Was thinking the same thing. If they weren’t incorrect he left out key points of their story.

Please do make a Crash Bandacoot timeline.

It doesn’t mean much to me personally, but I thought it was cool and respectful that you referred to Ashiok as “they” considering they officially identify as neither man or woman
