What did you expect people? An Italian craftman making millions of charms all by himself and distributing them over the world?

I don't get it. What's wrong with working in a factory? They are not slaves people. They just happen to work in a factory with a production line. From design phase to finished product. A lot of people buys pandora, that is why a factory was needed to supply the demands the world needs.

Why is everyone acting like a $30-50 charm is expensive and for the wealthy? Cartier, Tiffany’s and Bvlgari are expensive, not pandora. The average person can afford pandora, whereas they can not afford a $5,000 gold Cartier bracelet. I guess it’s all about perspective.

Wow so many people complaining. Work is work. As long as their health is not at risk and they are paid fine, I’m sure they are very happy to provide for their family and have a job rather than be unemployed.

Stop commenting "how much do they get paid" whenever you see Asians working in processing & manufacturing. No - they don't make first-world salaries, but it's for this very reason that they have these jobs and don't have to be farm workers. Thanks to Pandora for giving these hardworking people a job and giving them the freedom to reach the middle class we take for granted.

Makes you overlook the fact the charms are mass produced. The amount of effort that goes into each bead is incredible and of course the final product is beautiful and in ways far more meaningful than diamonds from Tiffany's

Most people playing the "mass-production card" doesn't realize the bread/muffin they eat every day was been made in the same way, and the working condition for a baker (in western country) is worse, at least these pandora's workers have a seat and paid well comparing with other local labours in Ti. So why you still eat muffin/bread then think you are in place to accuse the company like Pandora? Work is work.

wow thanks for showing an incredibly realistic picture (aka actually how it's made) vs. some fake sentimental wielders crafting one bead a day. *Edited for PCness

Y’all don’t seem to know how factories work, kind of shocking that people are so ignorant to reality

This is just about the coolest thing ever! And watching them make all those little “trees” of charms was amazing! I want to watch them do a pave setting now... one of the ones that is a whole ball of stones..

There's nothing wrong with this kind of work. I'm from a relatively rich West European country with high living standards and I've done production work myself! Just because a job is production/factory work doesn't automatically make it bad work.
