Muhammad did not know of the existence of Iceland or New Zealand when he made the rules of Ramadan, he had no idea about the outside of Arabia. He had no sympathy even for the plight of the poor and working people. It is extreme inhumane torture for a man to do manual labor in a hot country.

I'm a Jewish New Zealander and knew many muslims at school and now university. We got on very well and I always admired the resilience of Muslims during ramadan. Given our history and the attacks in Christchurch of 2019 i'm thrilled to see our small muslim community thriving, peace to all!

Amazing, that Maori young man driving his family, and friends to Islam with such conviction and sincerity, he wants what's good in his life for everyone in the world beautiful soul indeed. and the Icelandic young man, singing the welcoming song of the prophet. their struggles, their joy, tgeir faith, what a lucky bunch. guidance is truly in the hands of Allah. well filmed piece too good job aljazeera 45 minutes felt like 5 minutes.

I am a revert Chinese. Whenever I think that Ramadan is hard for me when I am feeling a bit lazy, sick or tired. I always remind myself that there is someone on the other side of the world that is having it more difficult than me. This is something that we are proud of our ummah no matter where we are we will always try to put our religion first and our bonding is something we need it most in these tough times May Allah have mercy on ummah and may we unite in jannah

I've not even watched the whole documentary but I know its gonna be a great one. The bond of our religion is so strong that anyone who's not part of our culture or speaks the same language as ours can connect with us because we share this beautiful religion. Alhamduliah fasting for me, Allah has made it easy for me. May Allah reward us all and grant us Jannah. Inshallah will see y'all in jannah and we'll be sharing our experiences in their. Ameen.
