The London Nail Bomber : David Copeland

Season 17 : BREAKING NEWS!
Episode 11 : David Copeland
David Copeland had an inferiority complex that made him believe that other people where to blame for the failures in his life. In a misguided attempt to make those people pay, he started setting off bombs around London.

I cannot imagine how people near it suffered and how it has affected their lives. Rest in peace to those who lost their lives.

    @@vickyabramowitz2885 if I absolutely can't work we would figure it out. I don't work your normal job 😊 I've been medivaced by chopper before at 12 midnight, gotten fixed up, picked up, slept trip home and worked the next day. My sister and I run 2 food trailers, a restaurant at a cattle auction on the days it is open and do catering. It's an LLC. Our employees we use at times are gig workers, get paid on a 1099 cash per event, percentage of income. If injured at work, we pay for it even though we don't have to. It is just us and 3 others at times. She does all the smoked meats half the preparation, bids, accounting, is the waitress at the Cafe, works the window in the trailer at the larger events and auctions. I am the main cook etc, maintenance, other half of preparation, run the background stuff, and the baker. Small events, 2-close at the restaurant I do it alone.. For a 50- 200 person event it's just the 2 of us. For 500+ event there's 4 adults and one teenage grandchild that hands out food, runs errands. Were a family, she has a ranch, raises 3 grandchildren also, I take care of my disabled father in law and help her also. We have no days off, unless we are in the hospital we work to survive. It's just a dental infection, we have contracts we have to be there. Pulled the big trailer 180 miles round trip last night, served 700 people a full menu in 4.5 hours. Packed up, gave our employees rides home, she checked her chickens and goats and got the granddaughter tucked in, I drove another 20 miles home, visited with my husband, ate dinner/breakfast. Checked in on my FIL, played with my fur babies. Went to bed at 3am. My sister was up at 5am feeding her cattle and bailing hay. I was up @7am took more nasty antibiotics and cooked my FIL and husband breakfast, helped someone move, cleaned up the food trailer, checked the restaurant, now I'm doing laundry and cleaning my house. We are 48 and 53. Work never stops, I've had two braces on my feet and worked. We were raised that way, we have taught our adult children the same ( at least tried) our mom is 73 and still works her but off during retirement. If someone told me to stay home on sick leave I'd go bat sh!t crazy 🤣. Just can't stay down lol, id feel lazy and unproductive. Idk you get out of life what you put in, nothing is free, nothing should be. I'm quite happy with my life, health problems and all. It could be worse.. and God forbid all the tourists headed to Yellowstone don't get brisket fries at the Friday night rodeo. 🤣 Were just different kind of women, which I credit my GMA and GMA and Mother.

He said over there they will pickup what ever they can with magnets and fill them with it. One they found had pieces of another IED that had exploded. Pieces of silverware, household items. He's told me anything and everything that will enter a human body and do damage. It's been going on since bombs were invented

    It's not whether they have mental health issues. The legal difference is whether they knew right from wrong at the time of the incident. He might of been batshit crazy, but he knew right from wrong and knew it was wrong to kill people. If he didn't think it was wrong he wouldn't have had the capacity to go hide, set a timer so they didn't know it was him, and go plan another one. Legally insane is that. To different definitions

  • @notpub

    @notpub

    8 күн бұрын

    Insane is a legal definition that stipulates that you cannot differentiate between right and wrong. Mental illness is entirely different and encompasses mood disorders, early childhood development disorders, eating disorders, psychotic disorders, subsrance abuse disorders, and personality disorders, plus more. Only a minority of persons with mental illness are dangerous to themselves or others, and even a smaller subset of that meet the definition of insane.

  • @notpub

    @notpub

    Further, ppl who know right from wrong tend to try to conceal their crimes. Consider the cases of Andrea Yates and Susan Smith. Both mothers killed their children intentionally. While Susan Smith tried to act insane, she wasn't; and she killed her children for rational, though selfish and cruel, reasons. Andrea Yates, on the other hand, had psychotic delusions of a bizarrely religious, persecutory nature. She made no attempt to conceal her crime; could not understand that what she did was a crime; and genuinely believed she had 'saved' them.

    They’re not considered innocent. They’re considered less culpable bc of diminished capacity due to only specific mental illnesses. Most States in the U.S. have changed the law to Guilty by Reasons of Insanity. And the person spends their life in a locked down mental institution. If they are miraculously “cured”, they are transferred to a prison to finish out their sentence. It’s extremely hard to use this defense. You have to prove the defendant did not know the difference from right and wrong (covering it up or most acts after show they in some way knew it was wrong) and could not conform their actions to the law. It’s extremely specific. Never works. But Andre Yates’ 2nd trial found her delusional from mental psychosis which got worse after each baby she had. She had been seeing a psychiatrist that told her husband that she couldn’t be left alone with the children. He left her alone. 😢

    @@mandyohlin6886look up cases when the insanity plea is succesful. It doesn't necessarily mean they.are absolved of the crime. like the one serial killer who believed he needed to drink blood because his was turning to powder. The court was like, ok he's batshit insane and he's spending the rest of his life in a mental facility because we don't need to deal with this dude vampiring his fellow inmates in the middle of the night.

    When you are truly paranoid, it doesn't matter. I have a small amount of legit paranoia. I don't like white cars because of this one day that a sequence of white cars followed me home. One would turn off, but another one would turn in behind it. It's hard to explain to people when half your brain knows that something is completely irrational, and the other half still feels fear from it. Ask others with similar phobias. Mental illness is one hell of a drug that is difficult to explain, even for those who understand and control theirs.

    I love that album. My friend owns the record label that reissued the vinyl and there was issue that delayed the release and I waited about a year and half for that to arrive in the mail. It's still in the plastic because I still haven't gotten a record player for my office since we moved to the Netherlands.

    People who think they are superior are really insecure about the hue of someone's skin. Race is a construct to otherize people there is one race the human race and we treat each other in horrible ways. They are also concerned about people's sexual preferences its something within these people who are the problem. But here we are hating each other I'll never comprehend the insanity and hatred. Let people be to live and love their best lives.

    It's kind of sad that he wanted to be famous for the crime, and kinda is now, too. I mean, he wouldn't be known to anyone if he didn't do it, yet here we are and he is someone (so we are kind of part of the problem strangely enough).... pathetic existence....

    It’s crazy that you still have people out here in the year of 2024 that still feel in think and do things like this honestly.. The hate is beyond me, you hate people because of their color and you hate people because what they love & who they are as an individual.. Just down right sad..

    From the dictionary: Bengalese: noun, Plural Ben·ga·lese. a native or inhabitant of Bengal; Bengali. I also got it directly from the official report on the case for the Crown Office where they listed his known prejudices.
