The little things in life | Marie Obrowski | TEDxYouth@Haileybury

Marie is a current Year 10 pupil at Haileybury. She is half German and half Mexican, however she currently lives in Italy. Her talk is about the little things in life. Having been forced to try just about every activity you can imagine for at least a year, Marie stumbled across the one thing that truly made her happy. And it probably isn’t what you would expect… Haileybury Habits: Resilient, Courageous, Resourceful

I used to always listen to others, in a manner that I tried to please other people, It totally didn't work with my self/ soul/ beliefs, etc... I didn't know were to go, I just started doing things I did out of passion during my childhood, MUSIC ( records, Playing my guitar) Painting little wired miniatures, Cooking and water,.. swimming surfing fishing, Now everything seems right and I start to gain confidence and believe into self again

@@tronkilonk600 Almost 0 Italian in there. It's a mix of her German (from childhood), then covered with English (studied and lived in London). Just because people live in Italy for x amount of time does not mean they suddenly have an Italian accent :D
