A portfolio of photographs and footage of Little Egrets and Great Egrets captured this week at Lake Cathie. I used my OM-1 and 150-400mm f4.5 TC1.25X lens. I used ProCapture modes for some of the action stills. For the hero video clip showing a Little Egret on the left and a Great Egret taking off to the right, I used the OM-1's amazing ProCapture SH1 mode with a frame rate of 120fps. The high-speed burst captured 90 RAW frames before (the 'pro' bit of ProCapture!) and during the take-off. After importing the RAW frames into Lightroom, I generated 90 JPGs, imported them into Adobe Premiere Pro, and generated a 4K video clip (.MP4).
I used Lighroom's 'Print Module' to create the composite image showing the Little Egret and Great Egret at take-off, and a series of thumbnails of other frames along the bottom.
