This is a video I made more than a year ago. I have prompted myself to post it to my channel following a conversation over coffee with a friend this morning. I told him I'm not deterred by rain when venturing out to photograph wildlife with my OM Systems OM-1 and 150-400mm lens. With a raincoat on and an umbrella bungee-corded to my monopod, I can confidently take on the weather to record material that fair-weather-only photographers miss. Mind you, if the rain is torrential and whipped by wind, I don't bother! Nor do the White-cheeked Honeyeaters care to be out and about in such conditions.
I shot the video clips with my OM-1's 240fps slow-motion mode which does not record sound. The soundtrack (music and honeyeater vocals) was added in the edit phase.
