My man brought out the white gloves! Gotta say, I'm impressed!! As far as Post War goes, that is the nicest locomotive I've ever seen! If it's not considered Post War, let me know. Either way, I'm so happy for you! Finally finding that one locomotive you've been searching for is such a special feeling. Great video Mike! - Ryan

Ah Mike.....so glad I saw this video of yours. I bought my 773 at the York April 2022 show. right before I moved and dismantled my layout. I have no running layout yet in my family homestead that I moved to but you inspired me to get it out of the box and set it on my mantal. I was lucky enough also that the seller threw in the plastic and woof case. So ubtil I get a new layout running, I am enjoying seeing it on the fireplace. Thanks again for the " push" keep up the good work.

Beautiful engine Mike! Love the Rail sounds whistle and bell. All Lionel Hudson are classics in every version I've seen from 1950s to the present but this version really shines. Congrats & Enjoy!

Mike you are an asset to the hobby !! You are quite a good speaker, and well point out the salient facts ! You have a very mature taste in acquiring the 773 , and teaming it with the heavyweight Pullmans . I had never seen the open platform ob-car running before. I hope to catch any future shows you may do !

There was one thing that I forgot too mention and that of course was the engine come with another front truck assembly for much wider curves. The box also includes smoke fluid. But I’m going too leave it alone since it hasn’t been opened at all.

Hi Mike, it really is a great engine.. I bought mine LAST Oct in the white hall. However it sits on my mantel since my layout is gone after I moved. This winter I will have trains running again. I am so glad to see you run and enjoy this engine. Thanks for the preview on how mine will run. Keep up the good work man.

Great video Mike. That’s a pretty awesome locomotive! I’m on the hunt for the CC 726. The Century Club packaging is kinda like an experience.

The blue boxes was Lionel’s way of rolling out the red carpet. The old Lionel modern Trains in the USA are more popular than ever

You know I bought one of these, and never ran it and wasn’t aware it had railsounds. You made me open it up and gave it a test run. Thanks for the inspiration.

I bought that same engine with along of all the the first series of Century Club engines and I rarely used them, but still treasure them. Nothing better than Lionel trains made they were still made in the USA. The new engines are nice and have nice features, but the quality isn't there anymore.

One thing to note: the handrails serve as your antennas for TMCC. That is why the insulation is present on the handrails near both sides of the boiler face. In order for reception to be optimal, the handrails have to be insulated. If you care to check, you will also discover that the handrail stanchions are plastic for the same reason.

I am aware. They used a similar method like what Lionel did with the postwar general locomotive.

One of the all time classic locomotives, i don't have a 700e yet, I already have several other postwar, amd MPC era steam locos, recently started liking the modern features of DCS , but some classic enines like the Hudson, J1, and Berks don't get old
