Hope you had some happy holidays; by the way if you wanna actually have secret rooms show up at a reasonable pace, there's a mastery perk you can eventually get that guarantees one every floor which is both very fun and very annoying when you realize you cleared a floor without hitting a secret room XD

Now I know that Tiny Rogues is probably the game with the most amount of Terraria references in it, but I was not expecting them to add Zenith.

I actually bought Tiny Rogues because of your content, haha. I wish I purchased it before the price hike, but it's super enjoyable.

@@davidalankaminski - Honestly, yeah you're right the more I think about it. I've already got about 10 hours in the game and I've got over a dozen or so runs. Beat Death with the Knight and a legendary dagger set up that was hitting for 13K crits 100% of the time, lmfao.

The sword scaled better because you had more stuff that worked with melee weapons I think. Also, the trait you picked up required a MAGIC weapon; the deck of cards you had was a RANGED weapon.

@@OlexaYT It says it below the weapon’s name. Chilling Deck of Cards+2 Type/Class: Throwing/RANGED It’s the class of the weapon. A magic weapon would be something like: Type/Class: Bible/Magic

Despite everything many of us are mcloving the series. Keep it up olonko Also i think that charms with doubled effects already show their effects as doubled, so the 10% attack speed was actuwlly just 10% attack speed

Try thinking of the campfire as “starting gear” and you should likely customize it per character. Some campfire abilities directly harm some classes, others are super good for specific builds. And yes, the tavern is weak to start, you have to take CF skills to make it good. Similarly, the item you take in with you is very dependant on both character and CF loadout. You also cap out at 30 points for the CF so keep in mind, not all CF skills can be combined.

The thing you were missing about the sword was the fire gloves, flat damage on hit already scales super well with attack speed, plus burn which works super well with the crit

Strongest run I ever had was with a bell, and I killed Death (both stages) in about 5 seconds. It was insane since the bell was doing like 30k damage per hit

The main issue when you swapped to Diamond Armor probably was that your offhand was disabled since you were using a two handed weapon, so it couldn't provide its bonus! Great video.

Olexa this dex run was amazing and so much fun to watch. Thanks for putting the time into this to give us this great video

I gotta say thanks for showing me tiny rogues. I just got it and man it is so fun!!! The game is surprisingly harder than it appears.

This game shows you upgraded values. On mystic, you're seeing the double effect of charms in the tooltip before you even pick it up, e.g. stamina charm is normally +1 stamina but it's +2 on mystic.

Found tiny rogues with your first video and have sunk 100 hours into it already (i had the holidays off). Actually such a great little roguelike and im excited for the next expansions

So the reason Aegis is legendary is the last listed effect, basically, every single time you finish any room that had a fight of any kind, all your armor (no matter how much) regens.

Thanks so much for highlighting this great little (huge?) game! I bought it after watching a bunch of your videos and I'm really enjoying it! After two days of trying, I just got my first win today with a poison build cleric + star cannon - only regular Death, but I'm counting it! Thanks again!

Those gloves were 60-140 fire damage stacking with 6 attacks per second on your melee sword. That is why it was so much better than your bows

Just so you know, the hidden bomb rooms look like an "X" where you're supposed to bomb. I don't see them very often

I think it's better to have the things in progression tree that apply rarity to all item in boss room (etc, at least one ilegendary item to 3/4 items legendary), the one that give extra reward in boss room if you didn't get hit at all on that floor (because you rarely get hit), and plus the get the starting rack of dice so you have the chance to roll the reward if the rarity is good

Got zenith in one run, unfortunately, I also ended up getting both the v.b.f.g that could do 27k a random rare that could do 64k thanks to soul lantern.

You know the skill tree revive is an intended mechanic and it's not being wimpy to take it. Now not using any of the run modifiers to increase the difficulty and exp gain...(but seriously, you should consider using both of those systems).

Skipping the bondfires at 30 souls is absolutely killing me. I'm here for it though

its already showing you the doubled stats at the stamina charm normaly only grants 1 stamina

For Cast on Crit it has to say magic in the weapon type for it to work

exactly. the cards were a ranged/throwing weapon so even though they drain mana they dont work with cast on crit, sadly.

Regular secret rooms = watch the debris on the ground for Xs, super secrets do exist, i found 2 by accident (miss clicked) but i have Zero idea how to find those reliably

normally that charm only grants 1 stamina.

So you are more or less dead wrong on the scale everything phobia for this game, every food gives a valuable XP, and, even if not main, every stat does help every build. Even if you take a perk that removes stats from an ability, the XP is still worth it. And, even if a given ability may have less for a type of build than others, it still has things for it. Food should more or less always be first priority for item grab. And the light blue dice are some of the most valuable to have as they let you choose better powers for your build.

the stats on things that are doubled are already in the item descriptions, because the stats are pretty low to begin with.

the point of the character is that you get duoble the amount of stats from charms and weapon buffs the thing that is missunderstanding is that the stats you see are already duoblet so the starting charm that gives you 20% magic find, normaly only gives you 10% magic find and so on... p.s. your dack of card / perk - combo did not work, couse the cards are not magic weapons. they are throwing/ranged weapons there are 3 kinds of weapons: melee with sword, spears, etc. ranged with throwing, bow, gun, etc. and magic with staffs, scolls, etc. and mana consume can be on all of them, and has nothing to do with magic or not ;d

Haven't done a whole bunch of runs in this game. But it's pretty fun tbh. I definitely like Dex builds the most.

He got two terraria swords in the same run, lol

it was a throwing/ranged weapon, not a magic/whatever weapon, not all weapons that drain mana are magic weapons.
