@@elchocuelo6675 I think that would still work for hour-or-so long videos, if they don't all need to be successful runs. Normal progression runs would probably be fine, 9 hour runs and beyond are definitely streaming territory. In any case, given Sifd's talent he probably won't die quite as much as the rest of us... Definitely want more love for Noita

@@user-xc3iq8je9x If youre on the 3rd layer in ten minutes youre not taking nearly enough time on the first 2. Take floor one pretty slow but take floor 2 REALLY slow. Floor 2 is often the make or break for many runs

notes for sifd: 1. the wand you had with the mimic cube didn't have th mimic cube lacked to the wand (if it is locked to the wand it will have an icon on the bottom right of the picture indicating that) 2. the purple light causes you to have reversed controls 3. attackspeed is the time between attacks 4. cooldown is the time spent when u use all spells on the wand 5. full salvo means that attack spells are shot at the same time up to the ammount indicated (this means that if you have a slow attackspeed but a fast cooldown you can still attack fast) 6. scatter adds inaccuracy

In other words for 1 if it doesnt have the lock you are getting both the wand and the spells. That said considering how this ended he did very well.

MOOOREE!, that was a super cool mage run. Extremely unique and a lot to try out.

I would love it if they would add more than 3 areas maybe not 10-12 like tiny rogues but enough time so that people can have crazy builds going all the time.

Honestly, if you like this you would LOVE Noita. Same idea, but taken to the *extreme*. There are spells that can create entire other dimensions, that the developers didn't even code! There still are many, many undiscovered spells because there's simply so much to explore. Even if you don't, though, this is a great game :)

In most roguelikes, really fancy things are manually coded by developers. For example, if you have a spell that teleports you, someone wrote the code to specifically teleport a player. What I mean is that you can create another dimension in noita, despite the developers not manually coding in another dimension, it's simply the result of other code. Like how computers work, metal and electricity themselves don't do much, but if you combine them in specific ways you get incredible machines@@tcharlesleonardo1681

@@rioghander2te It's like Noita, but with permanent Tinker perk and less PC-melting potential (so far.) The way they implement summons and wands that 'use themselves' is different enough to be unique in that respect, though Noita does have a few select spells and perks (I think) that have a similar mechanic but aren't really comparable to buffing up an army of scolls that summon an army of Pops that summon tentacles on death. I'm surprised we haven't seen any other games going with this crafting idea though - the closest I can think is Baba Is You but that's a drastically different type of game entirely. Noita really gives you the immersion of being a witch experimenting with magic and alchemy and revels in the ability for you to go full broken god exploita build and destroy anything and everything. Until poly...

Could argue that many other roguelites are simliar in the crazy way you can mix and match aspects, but these two are different due to the flexibility and specific customisability of your weapons. I'd really like to see what other games can do as well along this branch of RL, I'd be happy for another generation of clones

You should have put the laser first, then firework, then an attack which is short, then again firework and then the powerful laser. You would have had 64 lasers which would be insane

Couldn't afford the MP cost for that with any wand. The fireworks shoot out the spells that many times, which you have to be able to actually afford the MP cost of. There is another mechanic of the wands later on that would allow it because rather than sucking up from a pool of mana, it charges up based on conditions, but I'm not sure if there's a wand with enough charged slots with a condition that would charge enough for that to actually be useful tho. Best you could probably do is set that up and eventually that would fire off, but it'd be really infrequent and if you wanted to keep it in your back pocket, you'd have to get it mostly charged up and then switch to a different wand until you wanna use it, and then switch back and finish the last bit of charging. It'd be really inconvenient and borderline useless.

@@LifeInJambles I don’t know the exact math but say he put the energy saver in front of the mimic then you could drastically reduce the cost of the spell. A spell costing 1000 mana would end up only using 360 (300 upgraded) mana. I mean it’s still impossible with the lasers even with the discount, but that’s just cause I don’t know the extent of the upgrades

Hey sifd, if you have 2 scatters make sure there is an ability in between the scatters. That way, when the second scatter activates, it will quadruple the first scatter. EX: you shoot magic missile, then it scatters into 4 lasers, and each of those lasers scatters into 4 snakes, for a total of 16 snakes in one attack.

edit: after ca 15 hours, 1: it`s hard (i`m a noob at bullet hells) 2: you got some really good passivs like firework, never got this once, my highest dps is with thunderstorm, about 600

My go to spell is tracking + lightning form, find a way to detach yourself from the spell (there are ways such as the spell that throws the spell to the right of a spell), and see everything melt! Also add in freeze rune for no knockback.

Just FYI - if you are considering buying this game, I would say JUST DO IT, but there is the caveat that Wave Games is just a single Dev, making his first game. It is so clean and polished that I think we can probably rely on a really good game, but it is possible that updates could start getting more irratic as the Dev burns out. I REALLY want to see the developer add additional spells, that is what will make this game crazier. We play it for the crazy spell interactions!

You should play Magicmaker, it's pretty similar and allows you to customize the heck out of your spells!

Dude gets rid of a summoned unit that persists between rooms, meaning u can just swap it in to resummon it between rooms when needed, and basically have a free health buffer that also drains life from enemies to heal itself.

i lke the Noita esque wand building this game has!

The meta is you get the goods in the first rooms and die / chain fall in a pit to get the 1 cost bonus wand. You had a great run even with no perks! Keep that in mind when the dev wipes saves =) Always kill potted plants you see in reward screens as they can drop coins. Great game is great.

i killed the final boss in like 20 seconds with a pretty busted build because of the snake (15k dps) snake / mouse control / a ton of bullet speed / high bullet duration / damage buff / multiple projectiles / freezing / projectiles chain
