Just want to take a moment to say your thumbnails are top-tier

I have my skill tree setup to provide at least 1 secret room per floor and I start with 6 bombs to guarantee that I can get into my secret rooms early game. I have often found rare/epic weapons early game because of the secret rooms.

Okay... Lucky hit can turn utterly broken. It is not just crit with advantage. I fired out divine hammers, shards of ice, missiles, and I think some kind of poison on a lucky hit, and my chance to lucky hit was 100%. I could have beaten the game if my weapon did 0 damage.

If you can ever manage it, try to buy the Entire crystal item set from the shop, they synergize in a way that is so crazy op that its just not even fair lol. It will likely take a couple crystal shops to get all the pieces, but even just clearing one store gives an insane start

Luck does WAY more than just lucky hit, it rolls to upgrade items, room types, enchants, bonus levels, and affects each and every rng roll in the game

After watching you play this from the first video on the update it really makes me want to get the game, keep up the awesome work man! 👍

I had gotten all the achievements and unlocked everything before they made this new major update awhile back ago. Now I gotta get back into this game again. Definitely one of my favorite roguelikes.

What did make me sad, and sad enough that I paused the video to go unlock necromancer and then complete a run with it before I came back to finish the video, was Tyler getting Strong Together and not immediately going "that means I can have TEN SKELETONS". Legit though, you don't need any other companions. Those skelebros do *work*.

Too bad you didn’t get that ring that gives souls every time you spend gold.

Just so you know, auras scale off companions since their secondary effects proc on each companion attack too

When he asked if his railgun did trigger damage it made me realize he still doesnt understand the keyword. love the runs anyway, hes making it work.

Even though soul scarf or healer could be nerfed, for 10 souls at the bonfire you can refill your flasks and still get so many soul hearts 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

FYI, it shouldn't matter how many lucky hot chance you have affect how a flat buff to lucky hit chance increases your damage

Drinking a health pot during the Tiamat battle was PURE disrespect lmao, normal rooms don't allow you to do that And oh my god there are more classes to unlock Does this game ever end?!?

Btw i get the vibe that when you see a negative enchantment you assume the weapon sucks; a 10% damage decrease really isnt that much

I think you guys are understating how bad a 10% damage decrease is… yeah when a weapon is 10 damage and you do 9, who cares. But most weapons in the late game are dealing in thousands. Losing out on hundreds of damage makes a difference

Companions could be improved but to be honest you don't have a companion build here, just the chestpiece and one trait. When I tried the necromancer I also got the helmet you didn't take, gloves that convert your atk speed in damage for your companion and a spellbok weapon that marks enemies to take more damage from companions and I tell you my 13 skelletons were destroying bosses by themselves. And the souls, you really shouldn't have spent them if you wanted strong companions.

get the meta progression right under this one as well, the one that guarantees all boss rewards will be of the rarity it says, not just one

Have you thought about a dash fouced build? There's alot of on dash effects it would be funny to see someone dash 8 times activity 4 effects each time while being unhitable Edit: woke up to watch the rest and 28:13 made me feel pain... our boy really can't read but we love him for it

I suggest you try to unlock the cyborg and try him. Cyborg allowed me to have +10 weapon lol
