    As I recall. Matt talked about how the death walkers ward was originally planned for Vex not Vax but things just lined up where it fit Vax a lot better, both in campaign and in reality. Liam has started many times that this campaign had helped him deal with everything with the death of his mother and , i believe, that (spoiler?) Becoming the champion for the matron of Ravens gave him a unique perspective to process things from that he wouldn't have had otherwise

    25:12 Actually, it is quite the opposite, haha! Grog's player, Travis, absolutely went out of his way to try to set off as many traps as he could, absolutely on purpose. He stated his reasoning being that he didn't want the DM to come up with and make all of these traps for the party just for them to not get used/set off. Of course there may have been a hint of sarcasm in his voice, but either way definitely Travis giving in to some chaotic energy! (Source: CR's TLoVM Watch-a-long party for S2E1-3 on their KZread channel.) One cool attention to detail for this episode though is that they have almost no music in this episode. Like in every other episode during down time there is at least some background music going on to give you a vibe of the scene. But in this episode they deliberately had no background music except during the fight scenes, flashbacks, & the very end, all in order to both create a subconscious sense of uneasiness b/c something is missing and unless you're paying attention you may not be able to figure out what that something is, & for when the music does come back in at the very end it is in order to make that emotional beat hit even harder. Truly an amazing sense of detail that was probably not necessary but I love that they did it.

So later on a half-ogre enforcer named Bofa came looking for him and something he stole, and was an immediate menace to the group that they promptly ganged up on and ran out of town... but with no commentary on his name. Taking a joke and making it serious I find works better than taking something serious and leaving a joke door open unwittingly.

    They made the same joke about Purvan in the stream, just out of character. The Belt of Dwarvenkind is good for warrior types, has a *chance* of growing a beard (regardless of gender), and allows the bearer to read dwarven... but Grog can't read, so. One night, Vax got Grog blind drunk, then shaved off *half* the beard as he slept. When Grog discovered the prank in the morning, he tried to fill it in by smearing charcoal across the bare half of his face. Percy triggered a wave of death energy when he touched the armour. Taliesin rolled high enough for Percy to avoid it, but Laura rolled a natural one, and the damage put her belo 0hp. Instakill. She dead.

  • @stumilesyt

    Also a Brit, weird isn't it? The rule is you have to stop and yield (give way) on a red, but if clear and only turning right rather than left or straight on (i.e. not cutting lanes, right-hand drive) then you can go. Some states also allow turning left on a red too if you're turning onto or from a one-way. Basically its crazy because USA, bless 'em.

  • @ShadowyFox_86

    @ShadowyFox_86

    It's primarily due to the US being a car using nation. The bike and pedestrian traffic is significantly less than Europe. In the right on red situation, it leads to more instances of merging into traffic rather than having to wait for the flow of traffic to stop.

    You can't turn left/right on red here because we have a much bigger bike and pedestrian culture. It's scientifically proven that intersections with 'turn on red' have a higher mortality rate for the weaker road users. We do have intersections with a separate light that lights up a green arrow when the people making a turn are allowed to go.
