It has been almost 6 months and I remember that day so well, i was in my camp, we had to wake up at 6 am to go for a run. Before that i had heard something about him, but i didnt know it yet. After that i checked discord and i saw "goodbye technoblade o7" and i was confused untill i had seen the video. I didnt want to cry i just looked at my phone in shock of what just had happend. After i realised he was dead, i checked twitter and for once it was so wholesome... Goodbye offically.

I have never cried in sadness in the pass 6 years, but today this streak is broken, I wish I did not have a reason. Techno is both a legend, and the sadest story I have seen play out. He inspied millions, but at the end of everything the living legend becomes the legend.

One year later, still cried. Technoblade never dies.

Honestly the worst part about his passing to me was I was never ever worried. My father died a few years ago from cancer but it was too late to even attempt chemotherepy, so since it was caught early enough that he could tell us about it I thought everything was going to be alright, him dying never even occured to me. So when the video when up, I broke down. Like this wasn't possible, it was found out, how did this happen? Rest in Peace Technoblade. Thanks for everything you did.

Same thing happened to my cousin awhile back and my aunt told me that when she was an air force medic people would have a type of second wind right before they die and from the looks of it techno was no different at all which saddens me greatly.

The worst part about his cancer diagnosis is also consequently the best part: Techno's positivity. He spent four videos and a few livestreams being positive about how things were going with his unique style of humor and wit. It wasn't until the end of the final video that I learned it was Stage 4 Sarcoma. He never once stated how truly horrible it was. True, he mentioned almost amputating his right arm below the elbow, but the way he had said it, the way he had reacted to it, made it seem like he was doing so much better. The worst part about cancer is how it takes people. Once you think you're out of the woods, it suddenly decides that mutually assured distruction is the way to go. Everyone thinks you're fine, then suddenly, you're gone and everyone is shocked. Its unexpected. Its heinous. Its the worst. I think if people knew exactly how serious it was from the start, people would have been much more forthcoming with how they handled the situation. Stage 4 Cancer? That's the worst kind. Damn near unbeatable. Yet he tried to fight it and nearly succeeded. Techno, thank you for trying to protect your community from the info. The anxiety and stress involved with knowing something so serious definitely would have carried a much worse impact on the internet. However, you used your humor and wit to lessen the damage and instead of breaking the hearts of many, you rallied the population of a small country to donate more worth than Grerce's GDP to helping millions of others with surviving their own ordeals. Thank you Technoblade. You will be missed.

@@leafpool2014_gaming Sarcomas are unfortunately one of the cancers that are often not found until later stages. If I were to guess, they found it at either stage 2 or stage 3. He described in his first announcement video his whole shoulder swelling up, which is .. well, probably not stage 1. On top of that, sarcomas are often very aggressive, and like SFA said, about 50% of them are completely resistant to any treatment.

It truly does take the people we love in the worst ways. The night before my grandmother died from cancer, she was doing so well. She had a burst of energy, was able to eat on her own and sit up. She passed away peacefully when sleeping, but I really had that grasp of hope that she would get better.

I came back watching this. 1 year later it's hard to believe it's been a year.A year without his comedic humor, his skillful plays and his amazing personality. As you said how he helped you in your channel he helped me so much. And even though I didn't know him he didn't know me I continue to cry watching this video, hearing about his death. Same. It's weird, fully grieving for someone I never met. But Techno was such a massive personality, oxymoronically, since his style was generally very subdued. Talk softly and carry a big blade or something like that. But yeah, I still keep crying every now and then, especially when watching something like this. I remember watching the Legend video for the first time and almost crying then from the sheer incredible epicness of his conquests and wins. And that led me to watch other content of his and then being blown away by what a fun person he was as well. Thank you for everything Techno and I will always miss you. And hopefully this is the final comment I feel compelled to add such emotional leavetakings to. Anyway he was fucking awesome and grieving is painful but totally okay.

Technoblade helped a lot of channel not by giving "us" something but only because of his existence. Because of his existence we created contents that helps us grow our channel. (He's one of my inspiration for my "Dream vs Technoblade: The Movie ". which really blew up my channel) He became our inspiration. Thank you for everything Techno! i remember the day i found out so well. i had just woken up, and the first thing i do was look at my phone, and see a text from my mother. it's a link to a video titled "so long nerds" by technoblade. i watch the video waiting for techno to come in and say "SIKE LOSERS" or something... anything. I go downstairs and see my mother, who's never watched youtube before, much less techno, crying. that entire day, week, month. i could do nothing but sit at my desk in disbelief. june 30th shall now be called "the day happiness itself shed a tear." It was night for me. I just opened up KZread and saw “So Long Nerds”. I had a hunch that something was up so I started watching it. I still remember this moment to this day. By the time the video ended I was just stunned. No tears no thoughts no nothing, just silence. Tried to go to sleep but just sat at my bed. I thought about the past 2 years I watched his channel and all the adventure and the Dream SMP. He got me into Minecraft and I’ll always thank for that. Fly High Technoblade. The skies the limit.

Ive been crying over him for another half an hour. I cry for him every couple months. Rest in peace, it still hurts

@@cnea8378 I was checking his sub counter twice a day. When “so long nerds” was posted, he was at 10.6, and it was precisely seven days later that he hit 13.6.

This man was the only person who could keep me entertained for hour on end to the point that i forget the time and place i was at in the begining. I cried for several days maybe up to a week he was my inspiration and my guild. My go to youtuber when i feel down and now.... hes gone. it took me qeeks to recover but whenever i revisit this video i remember the day exactly how it played out. Rest easy Technoblade The king of Mincraft.

I remember that I was at my aunt's house when I was chanting "one of us" in chat on that stream, in a darn new years party as techno reached the goal and I remember the first time in eight years I cried, something I haven't been able to do even though I tried, july first when I was in school, I got the notification and I cried so much and I remember replaying his anarchy speech on the overthrowing Dante video, and I replayed it many, many times because it was so iconic And there is just so much more I'll never forget I'm incredibly late for this video, but, o7 blood for the blood god, and potatoes for the potato king

I thought I was done crying about this, guess not. Oh boy, emotions. They sure do exist. Technoblade never dies. His legacy will be a staple of not only the Minecraft community, but the whole gaming community forever.

The silver lining to all of this is that Alexander has guaranteed himself a legacy that will never be corrupted. He left on such a high note with so many achievements and so few if no faults at all to recount that he will be remembered not only as a great person, but an ideal to live up to. His strength and kindness being a benchmark for all to aspire to as the world keeps turning without him. Alexander was a good man, and it's a tragedy that he is no longer with us. But he left us with a gift that will outlive us all: a name, and idea, and that which cannot die. Technoblade.

Second time I’ve ever cried at minecraft, and the first was when I watched his video announcing his death. He will never be forgotten, a true legend.

This man had the courage to look death in the eyes and laugh, he has achieved things that many may never achieve. As long as his legacy stands Alex never truly dies. His personal battle with this wicked disease wasn't a loss, but a draw.

I don't think I could have made it as long as he did before the tears hit. A part of me hopes that his family would be open to a few things. Auctioning off his Hypixel account for charity and things like that. I would of course understand if they didn't.

I feel kind of bad still crying about this, but that man was a legend. When I woke up (on my birthday of all things) and saw that video, i genuinly cried for a good half hour, despite barely watching most of his videos prior. Alex may have passed on, but Technoblade reigns forever in our hearts.

It’s been six months and this video makes me cry every time it still feels like the first time I watched it rest easy Technoblade you’ve earned it

The internet is a divided place, but sometimes it can join with a united voice in challenging times. I think we had seen that hours after the announcement and it goes to show how much influence he had in the community. RIP Technoblade, my favourite creator.

I can’t believe a year has passed. I hadn’t been watching him for very long - sadly I only discovered him through the Dream SMP so I was only a viewer for around 2 years by the time he passed - but he was a huge inspiration to me in every facet. I adored him and his content and when he died it just left me feeling depressed. Now it’s been over a year and I’m still sad and watch a video of his every day just to hear his voice, but seeing things like this helps me a lot 🫶🫶
