He walked upon a house that had a old friends name, said friend passed away during the smp. (There is a video of Ph1lza pausing and trying his best to talk about his friend but I think he ended up pausing stream to take a minute to himself)

When Phil started playing in 2011 I was graduating... And had just turned 19... It's not at all weird. When I was 7 Broadband didn't exist. Let alone a decent PC. My shitty pc that can't really be used to play games any longer, would be considered godly back then. And today, no one would give $20 for it. That the passage of time exists isn't weird at all, and that people befriends others not of their age used to be common, and is a lot common still, with the advent of the internet.

Phil is such an amazing creator. He stuck with doing what he loved for years, until finally upon losing his biggest creation, he gained everything. He's such a wholesome creator, and I'm glad to see him finally achieve his dreams after holding out for so long. He's contributed so much in return. We love ya Phil!

Just watching back and seeing all of his creations and me going "Wow, I was there witnessing greatness happen." Makes me feel so nostalgic. Father Phil is truly an inspiration to us all. Mojang should add a option in hardcore where you can save the world but you cant do anything but to see all the stuff youve done so far on tribute to philzas loyalty and hard work on his world his sweat and blood and countless effort was put in a world only to be gone in one snap of a baby zombie

I have watched this so many times Evan Please please continue making these vids. They are amazing!

It’s depressing to realize that both of Phil’s best friends died. 😭

As a hardcore player who’s survived thousands of days in it I agree with Phil, it’s no where near as significant to play normal mode unless it’s an smp, there’s a thrill to it that makes it really fun

he's spoken about this on streams and in the highlights for season 4 he doesn't think he'd work well in that space for multiple reasons a few i remember off the top of my head are not really knowing most of them language and just being a different space than what he's used to pretty sure with a bit of looking you can find a video or article somewhere with his thoughts on it

He'd be would actually be a pretty good fit for HermitCraft, but he swears quite frequently. HC is very PG and Phil doesn't want to change the way he acts or talks just to get on HC.

So sad that he lost 1 more Friend We all know Just too well .. Techno.
