What about bodyline? Bodyline, also known as fast leg theory bowling, was a cricketing tactic devised by the English cricket team for their 1932-33 Ashes tour of Australia. It was designed to combat the extraordinary batting skill of Australia's leading batsman, Don Bradman. Was considered by many argue it was as against the spirit of the game.

And he’d done exactly the same with the previous two deliveries, wandering off down the pitch before the ball was dead, so Carey knew what he was going to do. True, perhaps Australia should have given him a warning, but Bairstow should know the rules. Particularly because he himself has been involved in at least two dodgy stumpings in his career as a keeper. He was out, and was behaving worse than a village cricketer. And I’m English.
