I find it not okay to punch a Nazi. 1. the term Nazi can and is changing. Some people just want to punch others who have different opinions and do that by calling them Nazi's. 2. When you do punch a Nazi you are assaulting someone because of their thoughts, yes they are horrible but they aren't hurting anyone physically. Unless they do, you shouldn't be allowed to punch them because then the aggressor is you. And 3. You are putting a Nazi in the victim spot... for people who don't know everything or haven't read everything about the person getting punched who would they see as the bad guy. In this day and age everything is just little bits of info, all edited down. We almost never get the full story so some may get sympathy with a real nazi.

Most people wonder what the person did that motivated the other person to punch them. Generally, yeah, don't go around punching people but when it comes to far right figureheads the only way to counter them is by ridiculing and taking out the strongman image.
