Very interesting. In all the different pictures I have seen of Jerusalem, Israel, etc. I have never seen this type of terrain. Nor heard about their farming technique. Wow! The Patriarchs there! Wow! I'm in awe. I want to go there!

Lot choose the cities of the plain. Abraham choose this unproductive rolling land, but look what happened to lot and his family. Dwelling in the cities is very dangerous even today. If we want to be safe from all the snares and temptation of life daily ,stay away from the city. I mean, do not build your home in the city. The area is unproductive you can not plants crop abundantly but Abraham dont mind it because he believe in Gods promise.

It is interesting to realize that why would Abraham wait till Sarah died to acquire a land?

Interesting teaching. I would have enjoyed it and given it a thumbs up, but the music was such a distraction. 😢

Well... only by a promise, not what Abraham enjoyed himself (AS INDICATED IN THIS WONDERFUL VIDEO), but rather his descendents... albeit, God's promises stand firm, which imply of Abraham's resurrection to enjoy finally that promise God made to him to inherit the land. Check out here in Acts 7 Stephen's summary of OT events before being stoned by the Jesus rejecting Jews: Acts 7:2 And he said, “Brethren and fathers, listen: The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran, 3 and said to him, ‘Get out of your country and from your relatives, and come to a land that I will show you.’ 4 Then he came out of the land of the Chaldeans and dwelt in Haran. And from there, when his father was dead, He moved him to this land in which you now dwell. 5 And GOD GAVE HIM NO INHERITANCE IN IT, not even ENOUGH TO SET HIS FOOT ON. But even when Abraham had no child, He promised to give it to him for a possession, and to his descendants after him. 6 But God spoke in this way: that his descendants would dwell in a foreign land, and that they would bring them into bondage and oppress them four hundred years. 7 ‘And the nation to whom they will be in bondage I will judge,’ said God, ‘and after that they shall come out and serve Me in this place.’ 8 Then He gave him the covenant of circumcision; and so Abraham begot Isaac and circumcised him on the eighth day; and Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot the twelve patriarchs. At the 2.35 mark is the song heartbeat, by Sailr. I discovered ❤ sailr through this vid. Absolutely love love them! Like living water! I think Sailr is in fact magnifying Jesus. ...so is Daily Bread!

I still don't understand why the J's believe that they are the only ppl who deserve Izzyland. Abraham wasn't a J, was he? Isn't Abraham "the father of many nations"?? I believe the world has bought into a grievous lie, as to who the land belongs to. And when that land will be because "New Jerusalem comes down out of heaven"!!! I don't know but something is off! Jacob was named Israel. Was he a J??? In the eternal kingdom to come there isn't J or G's!
