Yawn 😴😴😴 The centrist Labour Party versus the Tories who have been flirting with the far right in recent years and have driven the country into a wall for the last 14 years. Hmmm difficult choice that. 😂😂 Labour tried going left wing in 2019. And they suffered their biggest election defeat in history. Because corbyn's position on brexit was "I don't know". He was untrustworthy and Labour was a haven for antisemitism back then. No surprise that Blair was and Starmer will be far more successful operating in a more centrist, sane position. 🌹

@@Mari99528 1) Current Tory government have put in more funding into the NHS than any other government in history. 2) Blair DID NOT put record investment into education. In fact, education took a downward turn in the late 90s and early 00s which is part of the reason why we have so many unskilled workers in their 20s right now. 3) Overseas Aid is ridiculous and the money should be spent on British citizens first. 4) Crime went down because crimes went underreported thanks to shocking police and crime commissions at the time. 5) The current Tory government have seen ( pre pandemic ) record low unemployment and record numbers of people on PAYE. 6) Inflation was at an all time high ( before pandemic ) when the Tories took over in 2010 thanks to YEARS of financial neglect by Blair and Brown. They sold off our gold assets FFS! 7) Civil partnerships? What has that got to do with anything?? 8) Winter fuel allowance is at an ALL TIME HIGH under this current Tory government. 9) Minimum wage at the highest it’s ever been under the current Tory government. Inc. lowest EVER taxes for the lowest paid. ( Highest thresholds of tax and NI ) 10) Banning of cluster bombs yet went to Iraq war and spent TRILLIONS of tax payers money bombing innocent children and destabilising the Middle East. Entirely based on lies that Blair sold to parliament. 11) Cancelling debt owed to us. You think that’s a good thing!?? No wonder we were left with no money in 2010! 12) Apprenticeship ls at at ALL TIME HIGH under this current Tory government. 13) The smoking ban which was first a conservative policy that Labour were forced to put into their manifesto… it was widely voted AGAINST in the Labour backbenches and required the Tory vote to get it over the line! 13) EU social chapter!? Ha! Anything to do with the EU is not a good thing. We’d still be in lockdown if we were in the EU. Proven my comment wasn’t ‘piss’ at all… it just proves that New Labour were Tory Lite in almost every single way.

BLAIR 1997 STARMER 2024
Things can only better
The working class man has had a very hard time of it for years. We will rise again!!!
Imagine when exit poll came that night and it said Tony Blair to be primer minister and landslide is likely 418 seats 18 years in 1979 - 1997 opposition when Tory rule came to end he came youngest Prime Minister in 200 years
Coming soon! Feel it !!!!
As someone very new to politics i want to ask; did things genuinely get better in the UK after this under Blair? If so, how & why? I genuinely don’t know wether to be pessimistic or excited about Starmer’s government

None of you lot have learned a damned thing. It's so obvious that Starmer has lied and U-turned on things he'd say he'd do. But you are all prepared to vote in yet another blatant liar. Yeah, shame he turned out to be a psychopathic war criminal

After the week Sunak has just had, I think that election night in a few weeks will make this look like a good innings for the Tories....

And what a CON that was
I mean… Blair was a Tory in all but name.

And that was the end of Britain as we knew it.The United Kingdom’s greatest mistake.
