speaking of budget: after this comeback i went back to watch their debut music video and got so emotional seeing the stark difference in quality and budget. and the best part is, these girls built it all themselves with their hard work and persistence. i'm so glad they have their spot in the landscape of 4th gen and i hope they only keep on growing from here!

Fun fact: Nana was hired before the company existed. They literally build the company around her. However, she didn't want to become an idol. Glad that they could convince her. I also have to say that I've liked woo!ah! since the debut. They released bop after bop. Rollercoaster is similar to Catch the stars but it's waaaay better. I can't stop listening to this BOP! Like you said all the time "wow, wow, wow" and that's their fandom name :-)

It seems that my old source was wrong but here they stated that she didn't want to become an entertainer but an idol. At least the story of hiring her without a company in the back is probably true. Doyouram is a source I trust, not like allkpoop or koreaboo ^^

wooah is really fighting for my ultimate girlgroup position since they debuted, and each comeback I just feel more and more tempted to just give them the title, but for sure they are in my top 3 EVER. i just love them.

This is the first time I have heard their music. I'm in love. They are so adorable and this song is great.

2022 is WooAh!'s year. 3 amazing MVs and incredible music. My personal stand out artist of this year for sure! Rollercoaster is soo good! Wooyeon and Minseo's vocals together are heavenly.

Wooah are definitely one of the best 4th gen groups, their discography are so good. And most of their b-side are title track worthy

Catch The Stars & Rollercoaster gives me warmth. And that is the best. Everyone in this current world needs that warmth.

I really love how the song gives me a warm feeling on the inside and in on the outside. I think this was a really great way to end of the year with a song that could be very sentimental and a lot of holidays that are going on around the world it’s just a really nice perfect song that makes you just kind of look back on your memories and say This was a good one and I can’t wait to see what happens next year. That’s really what the song made me feel like it made me feel good inside and it made me just be ready for next year. It was a really nice present. That’s what I’m really going to say. Once again, the girls did not disappoint me and I’m very glad they chose this song to be this song that they would finish the year out with and I’m looking forward to many more songs from them. They really know how to provide songs that make you feel good inside and make you feel Very peaceful when it needs to be.

NV Entertainment is really top notch when it comes to promoting woo!ah! They have done and are doing an incredible job with the contents, as well as connecting to others; content creators, fans, and other groups.

youre so right, i felt emotions. it was warmth and pride for the work their team and the girls themselves have done so far.

i think woo!ah! has created these two styles for themselves that they use in their title tracks, the emotional euphoric nostalgic sound like catch the stars and rollercoaster and the emptier-sounding, catchy gen z sound (i don't really know music terms so idk how to call this style) like woo!ah!, danger, bad girl, purple and i don't miss u. these styles are distinguishable from each other but they're still both very much woo!ah! and i love that. they're becoming one of my favorite girlgroups.

For me, woo!ah! personifies 'wholesome' in the k-pop paradigm. Nana is one of the best aces I've ever seen and the whole team has such a harmonious arrangement - every girl seems to be a dream-girl-next-door type and I can't think of another Gen 4 group who can pull off this specific vibe.

@@birchlawpa Yeah and nothing else for them since. Ven Para was such a flop that the company just cornered them till now, worst with the departure of jiyoon. Weeekly is one of my favorite 4th gen groups alongside STAYC, Purple Kiss and Wooah.

I love it when a reactor with real technical knowledge can barely say anything but "wow" and Woo" on first play. Yes, it's moving. Even just the song, w/o video and w/o subs for non Korean speakers, makes you feel that rush of excitement of starting a new relationship. You did a great job of bringing out technically how the lyrics and video add more layers to that. Good reaction to an outstanding bop.

You can't understand the GOOSEBUMPS i get when i hear the last chorus after the calm bridge... and the "i love it love it love it" suits so well even after youve heard the chorus so much... and the prechorus builded is sooo good and what's even better is that the actual chorus doesn't fall behind a little bit. I liked every single song wooah has put out but this is definitely my favorite so far

I fell in love with Woo!ah with "Catch the stars" and hearing "Rollercoaster" for me was so magical, it's like catch the stars in the feeling that Woo!ah! they take us on a journey with them again, I really love this group, it makes my heart feel warm 🥹💖🚀

PD, since you like Woo Ah and Jo Yuri so much, I am really hopeing that you will watch Nanas and Yuris Webdrama "Mimicus" sometime on patreon. I got into it very recently, those 16 episodes flew by like it was nothing, I really enjoyed it and I think the cast did a great job. SInce its only ~20 min per episode its not the biggest time commitment either.

Rollercoaster actually reminds me of spicas song tonight, its an uplifting song but kind of a friend party anthem.

Woo!Aah! It's definitely a hidden gem in this industry. They have EVERYTHING. I will always thanks Kang Hyewon to presents Nana and Woo!Aah! for me.

This was the first song I heard from them and, as you said, it caught me off guard and I feel like I'm falling for the concept of the group (if that makes any sense). Also, I agree with what you said with the beginning of the chorus shot on the 37th second mark on the MV. It's uncommon, but with a clear purpose - notice how the lyrics say "We on a ride you better..." right on the shot and then goes on like an actual ride shot going away from them - like they're sending you off to an exciting part of something great. That's what I love about your careful observations and yes, Rollercoaster is indeed full of these kind of lyrically matching shots. Sora on the end of the 1st pre-chorus is also a perfect example of that!

Heyyy twins! RV and fromis are my ult groups & I really enjoy wooah too!

To me the best structure to a kpop music: Verse - pré chorus - chorus verse 2- pre chorus - chorus - post chorus slow bridge - chorus - post chorus - high energy outro with another melody. Always adding new things in the music to not be boring or repetitive.

I loved this comeback and the grouth of Woo!ahh!

2022 has been another really great year for girl group music releases, and it's going to be very tough for me to pick my personal SOTY, but Rollercoaster is easily in my top 5, if not my top 3 for the year. Even if I don't pick it as my #1, it's going to be a favorite of mine for a VERY long time. This song really embodies a lot of the elements that got me into Kpop in the first place years ago.

I meet them last comeback when they presented Danger and BTS was closing the music program, I was sleepy the whole program but they awake me and were the most interesting for me after BTS, they have their own style. Now I follow them.

Theyre visuals are stunning. Theyre so pretty. And theyre EXPRESSIONS are TOPPP notch theyre so confident now! And the music CONTINUES to be amazing.

I started stanning woo!ah! right after they released Bad Girl, and holy shit. Seeing how far they’ve come, how much they’ve grown, how much more budget they have, it’s crazy. And it’s all come from their consistent hard work and excellence. It makes me feel so proud

I just realized this sounds like Catch the stars but bigger, more emotional, and it's so beautiful how it shows their growth in just one year. Also, the way they're finishing the year with sparklers, fireworks and fancy outfits.
