Eye to Eye is still my favourite song of 2022. The fact the Miyu came up through GP999 and Suhye through My Teenage Girl is why they look like veterans but are still rookies. Their mettle has been forged through survival shows and their self-confidence just oozes out of the screen because of it! And Gaeun is just another one of those maknae-extraordinaire that seem to be everywhere in 4th gen!

Limelight is from Yeseo and Mashiro's company, based on the CEO's comments they are probably going to get added to Limelight after Ke1per's contract is over.

The girl you felt like you know is a girl from Girls Planet 999! She's the one that got a lot of focus in the first mission's Fiesta team due to being forced into being a main vocal, had bad throat condition and couldn't hit it in the actual stage. She was an independent trainee and I'm glad 143 saw her potential and got her to debut.

Eye to Eye was one of my absolute top tracks of 2022 and i still love that song to death

That IZ*ONE vibe got me hook in the group. And make me STAN this group. This trio it's really powerful, I really love Eye to Eye too.

Just FYI! The reason they sound familiar is because the producers for some of the iZone songs are the the producers for these songs. Starlight sound A LOT like Fiesta. Might be beats they must of had in the banks and never made it to iZone albums. This group is AMAZING! They have SO MUCH POTENTIAL! Especially once Yeseo and Mashiro come into the group (hypothetically)

I always tell people that CSR, Limelight and FIFTY-FIFTY are the holy trinity of nugu groups with flawless discography in the 4th gen. Seriously, these groups have the most potential, so as long as they keep the quality going. EDIT: Speaking of CSR, I'm still waiting for your reaction with their latest mini-album, especially their title track, 'Shining Bright'!

143 is the entertainment company they are under and ikon, yeseo and mashiro, junseo and daeul, and Dok2 are under it.

The group is only 3 members right now but their company has said that they’ll gain more members later on (likely mashiro and yeseo in late 2024 and possibly other people as well)

Limelight is SO underrated, I bet if they had better promotion ppl would love them

I fell in love with their pre-debut and their debut didnt disappoint me either. The two bsides that came with Honestly were fire. But my favorite song from them gotta be "Eye To Eye" which was one of my top songs last year.

I think they do care, even IKON found love at 143.. Also they keep their artists involve in each others activities like Gaeun rapping for Bobby's music show stage and Jinhwan appeared on Honestly MV

I don't stan groups with too many young members as it makes me uncomfortable but I found Limelight on Spotify and I was like WHO TF IS THIS!!!!!! Immediately in my go to playlist.

i dont even really stan them but eye to eye is genuinely one of my all time favorite kpop songs, and this is out of all the 8+ years of releases ive witnessed

This morning my daughter and I were watching some kpop MVs and when Wooah Rollercoaster ended I said to her that it was the third best song of 2022. She asked what was the second best and I said IVE After Like. Then she asked what was the best and I proudly turned on Eye to Eye

the "no-limit" member concept is really the only thing that throws me off. I come from stanning After School and it hurts every time when one member goes or someone new is added and you see the dynamic in the group changing (can also shift to be worse, members leaving as they now feel not valued anymore and and and). I still will watch them. I am in love with all their songs so far and man the vocals of the three.

Thanks a lot for this reaction PD. I've been following Limelight since the beginning because I was immediately hooked by their charisma. I love their voices, their grace to dance and their visuals. I think all three were born for this; the cameras love them and they do everything else great. BTW, the group made three other pre-debut videos 'Cha Cha', 'Paradise' and 'Blanc Noir' that are worth watching. Another point is that the group was planned to have more members but the company decided to debut them early as a trio, most likely due to budget problems.

Eye to Eye is an absolute _masterpiece,_ and so far is still my favourite song from them... which is saying something, because so far, they have a _very_ solid, if small, discography. They just also dropped their comeback single, *Madeleine,* which so far has got better for me with every listen.) I think you're gonna like them as people, too; they definitely seem to have quite a sisterly dynamic (in a lot of ways, Suhye seems more like the big sister than MiU does 😂). And 143 seems to be a pretty solid company, from what I've seen and heard of them. I believe the founder is an ex-higher-up from YG, which is presumably why iKON migrated there. The girls seem pretty free to try stuff and put out vlogs and such (Gaeun's been posting vlogs of her school life, for instance), and we've occasionally seen them with Mashiro and Yeseo too, who 143 seem to be promoting better than Wake One. 😜 I think the company have firmly staked their claim on YeShiro, and let them know that there's very much a home for them when Kep1er's done. The LimeLight/iKON crossovers don't stop here, by the way. Bobby recently did a solo single featuring SOLE, but when he promoted it on the live circuit, it was actually Gaeun who joined him on stage, spinning her own twist on SOLE's lyrics.

I've enjoyed Limelight. They do not get a lot of buzz, but I think they're all supremely talented and should get more of the limelight!

The full 5-member lineup will finally be completed in July. I have high expectations. The songs are still really good, I think the synergy will be greater with the five-person system.

I have to say I became absolutely obsessed with Limelight when Eye to Eye and Starlight dropped, I lost count on how many times I replayed Eye to Eye, and Starlight completely blew me away as well poking all the right places of my mind that I legit forgot it was a predebut, which wasn't helped by them actively promoting it on music shows; and the only reason I wasn't as crazy about it as Eye to Eye is because I was feeling more mellow back then but eventually I couldn't stop listening to it. Then Honestly came out and it really felt like the perfect blend between both songs and I was obsessed again, the perfect amount of romantic sweeteness was everything I needed. Now I really hope they'll have a comeback soon, they're my favorite kind of girl group and I need more from them. Anyway, the reason you thought Starlight reminded you of IZ*ONE is because the same people who wrote it also wrote Fiesta. I remember thinking of it when first listening to it because of my exhaustive obsession with Fiesta that I had to look it up as soon as I recovered from it to really be sure then it all made sense. Oh, also another little fun fact: Honestly was filmed at the same university that Semantic Error was filmed at, the staircase/library area being the most recognizable location in it because SE used it a lot. So I choose to believe they're both set in the same universe because I love both of them a lot and I like to think that Jaeyoung and Sangwoo came across Limelight making a ruckus by dancing everywhere lol
