  The most beautiful punch in the face. Everything about this song is in the title. I don't how to explain it better, but thankfully they did it for us. With what's going on with the group this track is perfect. Probably going to be on repeat endlessly and one of my personal favorite K-pop songs of all time. Top ten? Maybe, maybe not but it's a contender it just hits so hard. Kep1er needs to keep on this Straight Line and Shooting Star track though because these songs are a level up S-class type feel. So impressive.

  I'm Brazilian, and I was a kid in the 90s, and this song and the girls' looks make me feel REALLY nostalgic. Miami bass was the basis of Rio funk in the late 80s and throughout the 90s, so for me it's like going back in time, and what NewJeans does best is that this feeling of time travel is very smooth. It doesn't sound like a group from the 2020s simulating the 90s, but rather like something straight out of the 90s. And I think it's interesting to talk about my experience as a Brazilian because ETA also has a lot of dialogue with the original sound of Brazilian funk, so for me, ETA and How Sweet fit together very well in the sense of bringing this nostalgic immersion to me. These two tracks are among my favorites, without a doubt.

  I love VIVIZ! Untie is one of those songs that never leaves my brain but Maniac is also super addictive! The lyrics are very sad since I believe it has to do with loving someone as horrible as as the relationship is! Also if I can recommend Shownu X Hyungwon Love me a little cause I don't think I have seen it on the channel and it also texts stuck in my head, so good!

  Had the same reaction when I first watched the MV + my jaw dropped to the floor when she did THAT handmove. The buildup and the layers of ABCD are insane. The album is insane. I can’t remember the last Kpop album where every b-side could be a title track. Her voice and delivery left me speechless. With POP/IM NAYEON, esp with the b-sides, I thought ‘oh she is a really good soloist’. With ABCD/NA I’m thinking ‘Nayeon is THE soloist’. I’m so impressed with this comeback.
