Eye To Eye is one of my top 5 favorites last year. Its such a masterpiece. I fcking love the antidrop, the high notes and the vocals!!! Also, as a wizone, I really love Starlight as it reminds me so much of Fiesta. Btw, 143 sent Daeul and Junseo to Boys Planet! So yeah ur correct.

Thank you for reacting to Primrose! I can’t believe I didn’t see this. Some things that made their debut particularly special are that in performances they sang Primrose live without backtracks doubling their voices, and that the members (Ruby and Yeum) wrote and composed both b-sides. Unfortunately Yeum (silver hair) left the group due to health issues, but afterwards they added Nahyun from Hot Issue, Rainie from Bugaboo, and Hayun, who is debuting for the first time. They actually just released a new song called Awaken Light. It is a pre-release for their upcoming comeback on August 18th. I really like the song!

about limelight - suhye didn't make it to finals in mtg but we knew she was a good singer anyway and is close with class:y and some tripleS members as a result - ito miyu on girls planet had grey/silver hair and did iz*one fiesta with bahiyyih, she was main vocal but had a bad throat condition or something so she couldn't really do the high note - the other member gaeun literally looks related to bvndit seungeun you're right, first thing i noticed about her too lol - the guy in eye to eye is lim junseo from boys planet yes, i didnt recognise him for a few episodes - i hope mashiro and yeseo do join bc this concept will suit them for sure

Don't worry, I had the same thoughts about the mixing for Starlight lol. 143 did send trainees to Boys Planet that's why, but I can't confirm if it's them lol. Eye to Eye was the song that really made me a fan and later the whole of their debut album. Honestly is like taking the best of Starlight and Eye to Eye and making a perfect song, love how fun the song is and the choreo and MV matches so well. The part where you talked about how perfect their different voice tones complements each other, I had the same thoughts there lol. Primrose's Primrose probably had one of the heaviest bass I've heard for a girl group and their vocals powers overs it. When I suspect they might not be able to perform this live, especially when they are a duet with limited stamina but their stamina is crazy. Considering how low budget the MV is, I think they really impressed. Like you, just when I thought that they would continue the badass attitude, they have a b-side that the members wrote themselves and it really pulls my heartstrings. Both members sings and raps perfectly in the song and it's amazing.

5:50 This part where it kinda loops at the end of the last chorus and launches straight into a repeat of it hits me every time. I think Starlight is actually still my least-favourite track on the mini-album (there's Starlight, Eye to Eye, and also Paradise and Cha Cha, which both also have special clips), but it's still an absolute jam, and has some of the same "what the hell are they doing?!" energy of, say, Billlie's Ring X Ring. I do believe at least some of their tracks actually share writers with IZ*ONE, so that may be why. 6:45 I think Eye to Eye is supposed to be a second A-side, considering how this is also labelled an MV, while the other two tracks got Special Clips. Unfortunately, while I hoped they'd perform it once or twice on their music show tours, it never happened; it's a shame, because I think that could have caught the interest of some who didn't vibe with Starlight, and form my cursory experience, it seems to have been the far more popular song of the two. 7:10 This one's Suhye (Su-hye), she's the one who was in My Teenage Girl, and serves as their main vocal. I've seen no suggestion they're planning to pull an NCT, or anything. And from what I've seen, 143 have a really good relationship with Yeshiro (some have said they're promoting Kep1er better than Wake One 😜), which will probably help encourage them to stay with the label once they disband.
