Freedom from religion is every bit if not even more important than freedom of religion. There are literally hundreds of religions in the world and each one claims to be the one true religion, to each their own. Knowing what neither you or anyone else can possibly know at this moment in time is freedom while believing what others have told you to believe and becoming to afraid to question their words is being conditioned. I don’t think the Churches are pure, the devil infiltrates everything, but it doesen’t mean God/ Counsiousness/ Divine beings/ Angels don’t exist, just that Devils are fooling us as much as they can. They are also creations of God, as we are, and life or spirits are all the same, part of the oneness. So you are me and I am you, in a way, because we are all God experiencing life in a new way, since the only thing that do exist is God.. He/ She/It is intelligence and pressence, Divine force. It’s cool and it’s difficult and we are in this game to learn, do wrong, but mainly now, finish this game on earth and evolve to a higher state! Thoughts and emotions telling that 'sth is wrong' that unconscious people experience are valid: they're suffering, they're unconscious and intrinsically feel that sth is wrong indeed... For many of us, realising that sth is wrong is how we end up here...

The 'keys' to spiritual awakening are generally copious amounts of pain and suffering. Most people, when they're comfortable lack motivation and interest in all that spiritual stuff. Turn up the dial on pain and/or suffering, all the sudden the consciousness comes online and begins questioning the source(s) of the pain. Viola, the awakening begins!

​@@usr909 Agreed. I have a playlist on my channel of content I've created (monologues) philosophizing on/about pain and suffering, titled as such. Why? Because I've experienced a LOT of it...learned a few things along the way. Try to teach people so they're not so bewildered if they get blind sided by life events that cause pain and suffering. We can suffer poorly or we can suffer well...either way, life, here, in this place, is suffering (and quite painful much of the time).

All human creatures on the planet experience some form of suffering but it’s 99% in vain because of lack of intelligence and short life to make the right difference. Someone said that humans die as spiritual children. The inner work for transcendence is so difficult and demanding of intelligence, life experience and abilities that given the short human life there got to be some super efforts to succeed.

Love is not an illusion, but Tolle's point was, when you're out with someone you've just met that you find attractive, you can't help performing to some degree, because you haven't got to the stage where you know them well enough for it to feel right and safe to be truly yourself. And it's love only when there's a connection between you while being real

Therefore, you're absolutely spot-on: *Love* doesn't exist in the _beginning_ stages of a relationship, at least not in the way we define as true love. True, deep, *authentic* and mutually beneficial love is much rarer than it would appear on the surface. You certainly can't love everyone-at least not in the sense that you actually _love_ them the way you might love family or close friends, for instance-and it's not all that likely that "everyone" loves you. Nor should one even _want_ "everyone" to love them. That would be a recipe for disaster and would certainly lead to far too many complications. Right?? 😅 One thing I _do_ know, though, is that the world (and everybody in it) needs more love (not "less"). I hope all who are here eventually find their perfect love (but remember: NOBODY is "perfect!" And keeping that in mind will solve a multitude of issues before they even arise lol). 😇❣

"Awakening" is the existential grasp of how "meaning" entails "Perception." The issue stems from the source of "consciousness." The sentience found in oneself is the result of compounding elementary particles to hone and scope the nature of "thought." In order to blend a reasonable state of fruition, you must procure a "barrier" of that which exists around you in relation to what is cultivated through you. Every single particle around you is "conscious." This is where truth lies and it can ONLY be found in God.

“Would you define and discuss the nature of consciousness? How does consciousness relate to ego?” One part of you is conscious, one-tenth. Nine-tenths of you is unconscious. If the conscious part thinks itself to be the whole, it becomes the ego. Then it forgets about the unconscious; then the part imagines itself to be the whole. Then it is the ego. If the conscious becomes aware of the unconscious also…. That is the whole effort of religion, that is the whole effort of meditation. If the conscious turns back, looks back, and becomes aware of the unconscious also - the dark night within - then the conscious knows that “I am conscious, I am unconscious also. My consciousness is just a wave on the ocean. The unconscious is vast.” Then the ego disappears. Ego is the part, thinking itself to be the whole. Non-ego is the part, becoming aware of the whole. Then the ego disappears. How to define the nature of consciousness? It has never been defined, it never will be defined. Who will define it? To define it you have to be away from it. To define anything you have to stand out of it, you need a distance. Perspective will not be possible if the distance is not there. You are consciousness, you are unconsciousness. There is nobody who can stand outside and define it. You can know it, but you cannot define it. That’s why all religion is mysterious, mystical, vague, cloudy - because no term which is very basic to religion can be defined. The subject cannot be made an object. I cannot put myself in front of me, so I cannot define. Neither has Buddha defined, nor Jesus. Definition as such is debarred by the very nature of the phenomenon. Everything else can be defined because consciousness is the definer. Everything else is before consciousness. The consciousness can know - it can go around, watch, observe, experiment, define, dissect - but who will define consciousness? You cannot go away from it: you are it. You can know it, but you cannot define it. Knowledge is not possible, only knowing. Definitions of God are maps: lines on paper. Definitions of consciousness are maps. And sometimes people get too obsessed with maps."

The now? For me the now is stillness sense perceptions. But it's hard because I cannot think the now and I cannot become the now. I learned just to feel from my eyes and feel from within my body. I cannot truly force the now or force the experience I can only feel from my eyes and feel my inner globbly self within my body. Globbly means formless lol.

Eckhart Tolle is trying to explain what is happening in side you. That is about your mind & thoughts. He says that Buddha said about “awakening”. Buddha said nothing to do anything. Buddha gave a massage to the all mankind. He explained shortly and simply about what is happening in side you. That is about your mind & thoughts. Even today that is what man can’t understand. Thoughts are generated through your five senses (external stimuli) & registered in your brain without your knowledge. No time taken. You can do nothing about it. You can’t stop it. Awakening is not a achieve able task. What you have to do is understand what is happening inside you, nothing anything to do. Only you can do understand you.

LIFE HACK: for anyone struggling to practice what Eckhart is teaching - an untrained mind is a mind full of suffering. Meditate silently for 5-10 min per DAY EVERYDAY on the breath coming in and out of your nostrils. Sounds easy but it’s not. You will have thoughts. Every time you do bring yourself back to that delicate feeling of the air going in and out your nose. You are not failing if you have thoughts. Keep bringing yourself back, THAT is meditation. And THAT is training your brain. And THAT is what will help his teachings actually make a difference in your life. Listening to these teachings it’s just not enough. It is only the tip of the iceberg. YOU must do the work.

@@PrettyWhiteLady Treat it just like daily exercise, only for your brain :) daily practice is key. Insight Timer (free) app helps me to keep with it. But once you do it long enough you won’t have any problem doing it every day. It will come easier and easier. Metta to you :)

Every once awhile a small bag of chips helps me to get into present moment better.

Become one with nothingness and onesness . As nothingness can t become anything and experience any form .

Let me break this down as " I " see it. What is prompting your state of consciousness and what is questioning to ask what is my state of consciousness right now, more so, where is that information going to. What is prompting love from within one being for the attributes of another being that is being recognised.
