The Kennedy Clan Through the Years

The Kennedys may be an iconic American family, but their story is filled with tragedy. Only several years after the assassination of JFK in 1963, his brother, Robert F. Kennedy, was killed in Los Angeles by Sirhan Sirhan in 1968. His funeral was a somber coda to the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee's life. Five years after JFK’s wife, Jackie Onassis, died of cancer in 1994, their son, JFK Jr., died in a plane crash. Months after helping Barack Obama take office, Ted Kennedy also died. #InsideEdition

Mrs. Kennedy stood out because she was young, fashionable, and slim. This was in contrast to so many former First Ladies who were grandmotherly in appearance, overweight, and downright matronly looking. In addition, this was the first time the media was allowed access into the inner lives of the First Family. Actually, Mrs. Kennedy spent most of her time away from the White House.

Of course John Jr was the perfect gentleman, Jackie wouldn’t have it any other way. And their report on Johns last day is all messed up; Lauren waited at Johns office for him. Then traffic caught them leaving Manhattan. Then Carolyn was late getting to the airport; she wasn’t happy with the polish color on her pedicure, so she had it redone. She also waited til that day to shop for her dress for Rorys wedding. Now, taking off at dusk, after thinking he had enough visibility for his VFR ( not instrument rated but in training) got caught over the ocean, 7 miles from his mother’s Red Gate Farm front door at the Vineyard, ironically, and became spatially disoriented and couldn’t see the horizon and lost control, entered a Graveyard Spiral and that was it. RIP Johnny 🙏♥️

Not exactly!!. In fact just wrong and especially this Carolyn being late bc of a "pedi" but now it's a "re-do of the color on her toes" it never ceases to amaze me how ppl believe all this info they spread around in msm and comments. Also she didn't pick up a 'black dress' on the "last" day, to wear to a wedding. But yeah, just keep believing info from msm spilling out lies and misinformation. Yes. Bye John, Carolyn, Lauren.❤🕯

There seemed to be a cold side to Ted Kennedy. He was not honorable in how he conducted himself. His wife drank to numb her hurt for how Ted treated her. She endured 25 years of unhappy marriage and she wanted out. Of the brothers it was Jack & Bobby who were bonded in such a way that you don’t often see siblings. Bobby may have faltered but if the 3 brothers had a moral compass.

I think Caroline wanted that so there wouldn't be a crowded "shrine" to her brother. Makes sense to me. You know life sometimes doesn't turn out like we think it will. For example Joe Kennedy Sr envisioned Joe Jr to be president of the United States and he only thought he would arrange Jack a quiet job in the military and he didn't really think that Ted would wanna even be in politics. Joe Sr. told Ted once " son if you're not in politics that's fine I will always love you but unfortunately I won't have much time for you. Well Joe Jr died serving his country and Jack was president and Robert was a great attorney General but Teddy was the shining star He had a long career in the Senate and is remembered by his colleagues with admiration and by his many neices and nephews as the great Uncle Teddy

You don't double-cross the Mafia, & expect to get away scott-free. The Old Man-Joe Kennedy Sr, paid off the Mafia to fix the 1960 Presidential Election, and they expected Bobby Kennedy to back off when it came to going after the Mafia and he did the exact opposite. Badda Bing, badda Boom. 3 shots to the head & JFK literally got his brains blown out.

The lesson to be learned is that you don't murder Marilyn Monroe, and you don't double cross the Mafia, and you don't operate small airplanes at night without instrument certification. Bobby is responsible for killing Monroe and for double crossing the Mafia, who after fixing the Presidential elections in West Virginia & Chicago, got stabbed in the back by Booby. Badda bing, badda boom.
