I came here from the movie JOE BELL anyone else? That movie completely changed my way and how I looked and felt towards anyone different than me. This song is absolutely beautiful in everywhich way.

This one of the most beautiful live performances I have EVER seen!!! This song was MEANT to find Benicio absolutely chills when he sings it 👏👏👏

Brandi has this incredible way of allowing others to shine while she supports. Not only is she gifted & gorgeous, she is such a true artist with so much grace. I just recently watched her live with Joni Mitchell - on a whole other level!! I just adore Bennie-boy - soooo gifted tooo!!

I must say, this is Benicio's song. It fits his voice perfectly! His phrasing and dynamics are so good!

The first time I heard this song, I had fallen asleep with the TV on. Then, Brandi Carlisle came on singing thuis song. I woke up immediately to see who was singing, and it was Brandi. Her performance made me emotional, but also made my heart smile also. I loves songs that are performed with such heart. And the words hit home. Then, months later, I heard Beni sing this song on AGT, and it touched my heart strings all over again. His voice just captures your attention and enters your soul with with joy and compassion. Keep working hard Beni, have fun, and accept any opportunity to let us hear you. I hope you always love what you do. Your voice is one of a kind. Stay humble and you'll be around for a long time. Benicio, you may never see this but im still going to comment💜. I can’t explain how amazing and calming your voice is. Whenever I listen to your voice, I just forget all the stress happening around me and get lost in your music. You will probably never see this, but you, your voice and personality is the best I have ever seen in a person. I may not be in America, but if I was I would be begging to go see you. When I first watched your agt performance, I was in shock and after I just couldn’t stop binge watching all of your appearances on the show- I watch them basically everyday. I sometimes even cry when I listen to your songs ❤️. I can’t imagine what I would do without knowing you. With this song, “The Joke”, you and Brandi sound like such angels and I have no idea how you didn’t get the golden buzzer when you sang it on agt. If I were in the audience I feel like I would’ve had to run up to the judges table and do it myself, it was just the most breathtaking voice I ever heard 💖✨. All of your original songs sound like literally the next big pop hit. Me and many other people always be supporting you and your career in music no matter what happens 😊🥰. I found this song on AGT and it great to see them both sing so well together, as much as this song makes me cry I can't stop playing.

When both together sing the chorus it's like a choir of angels. Benicio's damn brilliant but Brandi's pride of him just melts my heart. As someone else said t's like a proud mom moment and for that alone she's a great woman worthy of everyone's respect!

I've just seen the AGT 2019 video and had to check Brandi Carlile's video, and I was surprised and glad to see Benicia Bryant has his own channel, with this duet video. Looking forward to hearing much more from him as a teen and into an adult career, I hope. Talent and soul. Please pursue every aspect of music: singing, instruments, composing, audio producing, as much as you can get; find and stick with the parts you love about it. I hope you never get burned out or jaded or fall into the traps which are so easy to do. Always love music, it is a gift to the performers and creators and to the audience.

Amazing, like a lot of others I was intoxicated by your AGT audition of this song and now I can’t get enough of it’s one of those rare songs that stays on the constant rotation playlist

Not really sure how to phrase this comment without sounding way out there. Here's the thing. Discovered I needed emergency double bypass surgery in June. The eve of my surgery I came across Bernicio's AGT The Joke video. How does one put into words being so impacted by another person's talent that it transcends the physical and inhabits the spiritual (hey, I warned ya'll this would be out there! Haha)? Between my deep abiding faith in Jesus and the surreal angelic voice of this young man and the continual playing of his audition video I was able to come through the other side of my ordeal both alive and healthy. I don't need any derogatory comments from haters or naysayers so please dont bother. This kid has a most unusual and remarkable gift and I am confident he has a great future in music. I am and will remain one of his bigger fans. Bernicio, no doubt your parents are tremendously proud of you. God bless you young man and thank you for sharing such a wonderful and frankly, beautiful voice.
