In '60 Jerry Lewis was on top of the world. "The busiest man in show biz". And it was true.

0:50 Interesting how he explains the Eastern and western feeds. The irony is he's broadcasting from the West live to the East, while the West is taped to be broadcast 3 hours later. This is how the 2 feeds have worked and still do to a certain extent.

Thanks for posting this. I find it interesting that Gary Lewis qualifies as "Mr. Gary Lewis" at age 13, but his younger brother Ronnie Lewis is just "Master Ronnie Lewis". Maybe age 13 is when a "Master" became a "Mister" back then.

@@Donazify this looks like direct to Kodak film....too sharp to be a kinescope film of the TV screen....i'd guess this is the film that was broadcast to the West Coast later that night

Alfalfa was better. Rendition of Ivy was pretty bad.

Lewis semblait avoir une double personnalité, comme son personnage de «Docteur Jerry et Mister Love/The Nutty Professor». On peut en effet voir un grand talent de «entertainer» dans cette émission mais était perfectionniste et avait une personnalité excécrable loin des projecteurs.

You are incorrect that this show was cancelled. You are probably referring to the '63 series. These were specials that he did every few months on NBC. The talk show was the one cancelled on the ABC network in December, 1963.
