Great rendition of one of my favorite Gun Club song. Dave's voice is still lush and full of passion even when he sings softly. I need to hear the rest of tracks from this Tribute to Mr.Pierce

Jeffrey must be the greatest legend nobody’s heard of since the turn of the century it’s incredible how little posthumous exposure he gets.

Right!!? Other than the photo of him sitting on a guitar amp with a guitar in the inner sleeve of the Songs of Faith and Devotion. It's definitely the first time I've seen him playing guitar live. There are a couple other pics of him holding a guitar.

It’s not a surprise for me. It’s one of my favorite songs of all time. I saw Jeffrey Lee pierce many times in Paris London Amsterdam. Gun club was underrated but not for me it’s part of my best bands like joy division velvet underground. Time always mend the errors of humanity who always follow the flow but not its own heart. Genius are always recognized with time. I’m happy that Jeffrey Lee pierce has got the place he deserved. He was one of the best voice of his generation.

This is why I love Mr. Dave Gahan so much. Quite simply, it suits him so well that you get the feeling that he has really found himself by now. And that's what I need from him already! I'm not curious or engaged, and I'm not as engaged with what he does with Depeche Mode on stage. I love the new album (Memento Mori), but for me it's the first tour where I see him doing a lot of acting. This naturalness suits him so well. Well done, thank you! And he get extra bonus points for the guitar playing! I'm so glad that he's developing, training himself to this day! DEVOTEE💜FOREVER✌

It doesn't have to be one or the other - he can grow and still retain the depeche mode of his youth in his blood. In fact he hints at this in his own songs - his duality - thr soulful/melancholy father and husband and the sleazy/ hedonistic man still inside him

Brillant and subtil cover of one of my Gun Club's favorite songs (on album "Miami", 1982) I had a strange and beautiful week-end with Jeffrey and his musicians in 80s. I was a sort of guide for the band in my town (Geneva/CH) During these days, they played a great radio show and a big concert. When rock was dangerous !

Respect to Mr Gahan- he is not going quietly into that gentle night. Real musicians get better with age - they become more true to themselves.
