Now two

Finland just bought Davids Sling as our high tier SAM system. Finland will be the first export customer of the system. Rafael continues being THE supplier to go for the Finns. Davids Sling Stunner missile is compatible with Patriot system and Poland has bought the missiles for their Patriot system. Davids Sling system is reputed to be easily compatible with NASAMS which Finland has already.

@Kimmo J United States approval of deal is yet to come. There is Raytheon tech in missiles. The approval for Finnish purchase is 100% done deal and will come soon.

@@ravenwood1405It would be excellent and further assures that David Sling is easily compatible with Kongsberg NASAMS. Which Norwegian military ofcourse has, like Finns. Kongsberg is Norwegian company.

BTW. Finns demanded and got, political, government to government deal of continued resupply of missiles, whatever happens. Company Rafael is our house supplier and they love us, but Israel itself is in severe political turmoil.

Finland said it has been bought actually yesterday officially. Finland was first European country to have it. That is said on the statement too.

Finland was first export customer. Thou, the system is highly compatible with Raytheon (co-developer) Patriot, and Polish have.ordered same missiles to their Patriot batteries. Finland is first to have David Sling ground system, outside of Israel. Rafael continues to be THE house supplier for Finnish Defence Forces. Deal even included political guarantees from Israeli government that resupply will come, regardless how Putin threatens Finland or Israel.

Finland is set to make massive, half century spanning deal on antitank weapons. Out Apilas stockpiles are getting beyond best use date. Tens of thousands. Rafael is with Rheinmetall the leader also there with their 110mm Matador.

Rafaels Davids Sling is in final with IAIs Barak-ER for future Finnish high tier system. On top of our NASAMS. One of the two Israeli companies will get valuable reference client. All other contenders have already dropped out.

They dont sell it in any Country only U.S.

IIRC, Poland bought a system combining US Patriot launchers with David's Sling interceptors. I'm not sure how long it'll be before they have it.

The Philippines buy 3 battery of Spyder Anti-air missiles in Israel and already deliver, and now Phillipines want to buy that IRON DOME maybe they sell it because Phillipines help thousand of Jews to hide in the Phillipines against NAZI during WW2 and also Phillipines is an ally of Israel and U.S.

It takes a bigger, more expensive interceptor to hit something moving so fast. I think the US' Ground Based Interceptor ABM and Israel's Arrow 3 are the only missiles in the world that are specifically designed to take down ICBMs (without relying on a nuclear warhead to do so - as a certain Russian system does). Even then, they can only perform mid-phase intercepts, not terminal or boost-phase intercepts. David's sling is great for taking down anything slower than an IRBM because it's cheaper than Arrow 3 (however it's too expensive to use on artillery rounds and rockets, hence Iron Dome).

@@jeffbenton6183 Aegis SM3 is another premier ABM interceptor of the US. SM3 was supposed to be the Arrow but instead Israel opted to build their own.

@@johnsilver9338 Thanks for posting. I rather like the SM-3 - but it's optimized to take down IRBMs. ICBMs go much faster and a SM-3 can only intercept it if it's launched from just the right place at just the right time. (I'm not sure if an ICBM on a lofted trajectory would be an easier target for the SM-3, but I don't see why not)

@@fefahomer4068 bar-Lev? are you serious? tell this to the Egyptian Third Army that the IDF crowned during the Yom Kippur War. without the intervention of the superpowers the IDF would have eliminated it. In addition, Israel is ranked fifth in the world in arms sales after the United States, China, Russia, England and France. This says something about the Israeli weapon systems that are proving themselves in practice.

@@fefahomer4068 True, Israelis love to live, so they save their lives and build shelters to protect their citizens. unfortunately, the Gazans do not have any because Hamas chooses to buy weapons instead of food and protection for the Gaza citizens. after the fighting is over, the Israelis will continue to live a normal life while the Gazans will have to start from scratch again. Israelis are strong nation and have gone through more difficult times and wars

Nice defence these guys have, too bad they go on with their land grabbing and genocide. Its such a strange turn of history, those who were hunted almost to extinction, now do the exact same shit against other people. Like what happened to their ancestors gives them the right to do those war crimes they suffered

They're so much more going on than simple land grab you speak as if Israel acts unprovoked or if Gaza/Palestine is innocent in all this remember Hamas is highly active and they hide behind civilians and children. There's so much tragedy going on from both sides...
