Maybe yes.....but for now it's still difficult to stop them even with these weapons!

With ship-launched ABM there is always the problem of deploying it in the correct place at the correct time. I would pick the S-400 for its multipurpose function and the ability to be rapidly and readily deployed everywhere thanks to its wheeled carrier. Good video!

Good point! I almost agree with you but at the same time we have to consider that these weapons are intercontinental and the continents are surrounded by oceans. In this case the ships are faster to deploy around the borders :)

A bit confused about the max target speed. If even the rim 161 is designed to target missiles with max speed of mach 19 then the r36 satan or r28 sarmat missiles (both mach 20+) are out of reach of any abm system in existence today.

You're right it is really difficult to intercept such missiles (especially with MIRV). We have also to consider other factors like the maximum speed is usually reached into space while the ABM would intercept the ballistic missile in the terminal phase at a lower speed. But still, really difficult to stop them :S
