The solution to this problem is simple, you just need to download an external video app like FiLMiC Pro. This happens because the IPhone 7 camera app tries to exposure just changing the shutter speed, and keeping the ISO the lowest possible to avoid noise. The shutter speed steps ain't fluent, but the ISO can be incredibly flexible. So if you wanna record professionally, Download an app that can give you full control of the camera, choose 24 fps (for cinema motion), keep the shutter speed at 1/48, and just controlling the ISO to exposure you will get amazing and fluent films (sorry for my English, I'm a Chilean photographer)

That may have been true in the past but no longer. My cousin has a black iphone 7 and she's had it replaced twice because whenever you squeeze it, even slightly, it makes a creaking noise. She's now on the third and the creaking issue isn't here but this one has a wierd gap between the antenna lines, something I've seen on several iphone 7's. Doesn't look very waterproof imo. Now compare that to my HTC 10 which has no gaps, creaks, leaks, or anything, even after dropping it once.

Mat H 10.2 betas have a lot of issues. The messages app is completely messed up. Couldn't send iMessages at all. Everything went SMS. Apple tech couldn't fix it, so they just directed me how to go back to 10.1.1 for now. Think I'm staying until the final 10.2 release.

Literally the same design as the iPhone 7, and has a headphone jack and is well optimized. I have occurred stutters on the IP7, and the 6s doesn't have that camera issue. Look it up

The problem are the fps (frames per second). When recording a video in 4K you can only get 30 fps and that is when I see this problem in my iPhone's video mode. When recording in 1080p you can choose from 30 fps and 60 fps and when I record in 60 fps this problem virtually non-apparent. To change these settings go to: Settings > Photos and Camera > (scroll down) > Record Video There you can choose from: 720p HD at 30 fps (space saver) 1080p HD at 30 fps (default) 1080p HD at 60 fps (smooth) 4K at 30 fps (higher resolution) (The downside is that as of now you can't record 4K videos at 60 fps, only at 30 fps.)

It could be hardware, could be software. I just hope it's software and can be fixed via update.

Me and my friends are facing a big problem with Calendar. It's draining more than 50% of battery in each charge! My iphone is running hot all day long. I can't access my calendar neither settings. All messed up. Could you do a video about this?

Rodrigo Terra try to restart your phone 😂😂😂 Just kidding, bro reset the phone to factory default or take it to the apple store its a genuine problem. Our iPhones never had such kind of issues.

It would be an issue to me if I a) had the iPhone7+ and b) if Apple didn't make such a large deal out of the camera which is performing poorly

It has another major problem too! I have an iPhone 7 plus and when ever I apply a bit of pressure to the screen I hear a slight crack. Can you check if this happens to your phone too, Thanks.

Does this also happen with the iPhone 7 regular size?

i have a problem with my 7 plus. whenever i press on the bottom right part of the phone , i hear a crack, like a glass cracking. but nothing is damaged. the phone is not bent. could it be the antennas?

Paula Deen I have this problem with my iPhone 6, it may be the adhesive inside holding down the display has come unstuck meaning that it clicks in and out of place, it's nothing major

Paula Deen hey you can get it back to an Apple Store and have it replaced .But as far as I know only if it's on bottom right .I had this problem with my iPhone 6 .But then they gave me a new one and it is clicking on top left instead ,they wouldn't fix this though .

Is it OK if I got one from a giveaway the iPhone 7?it isn't that bad is it?

Another major issue is that photos are like water coloured effect with broken edges . I tried other iphone around but got same issue on iphone 7 and plus. Images are just 1 or 2 mb only. Whats happening wrong.

For the ones who are stupid enough to say "just get a camera," you should buy a phone that has a crappy monitor and just bring another freaking monitor with you.

Lyon Loi who knows, some of those people who say "just buy a real camera" and "he's just bitching over something stupid" are probably people who complain about the iPhone not having a QHD amoled panel/

I actually appreciate this video to let apple know (hopefully) that this is actually an issue and a lot of us notice it.and also my 6 plus actually open the camera faster than my 7 plus when i compared it side by side

Is this an issue on iPhone 7?(not plus) because I have a matte black iPhone 7 and I don't have any issues with the camera. And the one with the brightness is supposed to be like that because whenever your phone focuses on a light (like the sun) everything else goes dark and I have a lot of shots like that using that to make the photo look better. If you don't want it to go darker you can simply focus on something else.

Don't worry about it... When the fix it on iPhone 7s Plus its gonna be a huge innovation, since it will be 1000x smoother than the previous generation :D

Once you see it, you can't unsee it haha (apple needs to fix this for sure)

EverythingApplePro You sure it's every phone? Because my 7 Plus looks fine in video I didn't see the choppiness like that.

When I dropped my iPhone 7 plus just the first time with the thick case without any significant scratches on it, the back camera stopped working but the front one is ok. I've got no idea about what's happened to my phone which I bought just a week.

Another thing was driving me nuts is the upper speaker, it vibrates the whole device, which makes the experience of watching video or playing audio inconvenient. So I switched back to my 6s plus..

If this issue becomes to big I'll take the iPhone off your hands... you know To help a fellow friend and apple guy Also I would be annoyed EXTREMELY with this issue and iPhone has bad dark light movement even on iPhone 6

MauriáJamal yes you can, everything can be changed on the fly while you are recording, exposure and aperture are controlled at the same time, but if you download a manual application you can control them separately

*Suggestion* Take advantage of your 60FPS Option, It looks SO MUCH Better than 30. ;) otherwise good shit. Most people don't have 4k monitors yet, and the fluidity and smoothness of video just seems worth it to record in 1080p, Unless the 7 does 4k@60 lmao I wouldn't know, iPhone 6s.
