Thank you so much! Loved the pro but the size difference makes so much more sense to stick with the mini.

Great video! I currently import photos from my camera via SD card reader through my Mac directly to an external HD and then import into Lightroom to save space on my Mac. Is there a way of doing this with the iPad mini? I would love to just bring the iPad mini on longer trips but would still like to unload all RAW images onto the external hard drive to be safe. Thanks!!

Do you use a screen protector?

ipad mini or ipad air 11 inch or ipad pro 11 inch for a newbuyer rightnow? for lightroom edits

Shame the LR menu takes up so much of the screen space.

Thank you for the video! If i recall, unlike the iphone photo app where you work off of the photo in the camera roll, LR required you to import into an album first. Is that still the case?

@@TheVFXbyArt Sure thing! From what I gather it's stored locally on the app and if you have the storage for it, it is then uploaded to the adobe cloud.

@@TheVFXbyArt You don't have to import it to edit it. You can view all photos that are in your normal camera roll and edit them without importing them. Importing them will move them to a separate storage space/clone them I think. But It is not a necessary part of the workflow.

What about the color accuracy of the screen? At the moment I’m using iPhone 13 Pro Max to make sure the colors are on point

You cant calibrate apples devices and displays always shift in color. so i guess not very accurate long term. some of the new pro models have a reference mode to input some data but you cant just plug a screen calibrator in

All new iPad minis are compatible with Lightroom! it all depends if you want a lot of storage.

can you edit videos with davinci resolve? can you tell how the performance is?

The iPad mini has basically replaced my iPad Pro. I still use the pro (2018) but since it’s bigger and heavier, I don’t use it as much. Thanks for watching man!

Ipad air is better and bigger storage capacity

IPad mini is the least color accurate out of all the iPads, just be aware
