I’m a minimalist as well. The topographic wallpapers are a great trend I love them, nice pick. Part of me wants the minimal icons but I prefer to see what all the brands are currently pushing. The different colors also improve my speed when interfacing.

Moved up to a pricier version for better screen resolution and processor kzread.infoUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA , but battery drains faster, and not having a button for control of apps turns out to be a problem. Touch ID is harder to use than with the old button on the front. Can't really see the better screen resolution or see increase in speed, etc with better processor

Hey. Thankyou for this video. Im looking to get my first ipad and the ipad mini has caught my eye. Now that the m4 is out do you still recommend the ipad mini? My use case would be photo editing on the go, video editing for reels/youtube , note taking and content consumption. Im stuck between ipad mini & m2 11 inch What would you advice? Side note: i’d like to invest into something that’ll take me 2-3 years and not looking to upgrade any time soon. Basically on the longer run.

I also loved moft products but, just fyi, the stand is made of steel plates and magnets. While it is not heavy, it is enough to push the ipad mini to feel heavier than a iphone 13. i hated it because i mainly use ipad mini while holding it in my hand and that bit of weight difference is very perceivable. i even go as far as designing and 3d printing my own case for it which is like sub 50g

I think my best setup would be to get the new iPad mini 7 if ever it will materialize this year as a complement with my M2 MacBook Air. Light minimalist system with the capability to scribble and draw using Apple pencil. I'm in my 70s and hoping gadgets packing a lot of computing power will be a lot lighter and smaller to travel around.

It seems to me that an iPad mini with a Keyboard (or without the keyboard), can replace a laptop to the same degree that a larger iPad can do, but it will give you much more portability and ways to use it, since it It is lightweight and very portable compared to others

I am always sketching concepts, ideas, and notes, so a device with an awesome pen-to-paper feel is top of my list. I have not made up my mind yet. Also, I do a lot of presentations and briefings on various concepts and proposals. Any suggestion would be great.

If you’re using a Mac, then an iPad Mini 6 is a good choice! Haven’t tried a Samsung tablet before though!

Does the controller vibrate?

while reading font becomes smaller, that is issue with this form factor One have to continuously zoom in/out :-(

My problem with the mini and the pen is constant crashing in notes and notability. Also, the battery gets gone fast. Exponentially faster than the iPad pro.

If you can afford to, get the 256gb option. The 64gb is good for general use and keeping lots of small games and doing video editing (with the provision of external devices like hubs + SD card of SSD).😊

I think sketching on a bigger iPad is much better. However, I prefer the Mini since it’s more portable and I can bring it with me to site visits. 😄

64GB is enough for me, but if I were to buy again, I would go for the 256GB one. I have never tried the cellular version, but I think that could be useful for remote work.

I use the one from Remax. An alternative to Paperlike.

Apple should redesign it and implement a built-in mini Apple Pencil, similar to Samsung Ultra’s S-Pen. It would become immensely more practical and enjoyable to use. Also, at this price range, 64GB is an insult to us Apple consumers. It should be at the very least 128GB as the base.

I just got my iPad mini yesterday with Apple Pencil 2 and I was shocked how awful my handwriting is. I was hoping to replace my notebook. I bought a matte screen protector from TechArmor (was highly recommended for drawing by KZreadr). Do you have any tips on how I can make writing feel better and more legible?

Congrats on getting your iPad! I recommend practicing writing the alphabet daily on paper first. Slowly write them like you're drawing them. Then you can gradually increase the speed.

"A review that I posted a few months ago" The large variety of productivity/entertainment uses for the Mini demonstrates how versatile it can be for so many people. Master of Nun - But Good at a lot of stuff - Fine by me!!! I bought an iPad Mini 2 Cellular 10 years ago. I do not browse with it - I'm an adult - so I use my 14" laptop to browse and an Apple TV for viewing. After 10 years - I use my Mini almost exclusively when I "TRAVEL" - to do the following: (otherwise it sits in a drawer) 70% - as a GPS unit in my vehicles on a RAM mount - the best GPS ever. That's after over 150K miles of road trips (FYI - lots of pilots use the Mini for realtime in-flight information)- around town my iPhone does GPS duties 25% - as a Sidecar or mirror screen to view video paired with a M2 MBA 4% - as an eReader 1% - the odd miscellaneous task. This may change with the pencil I will likely buy the new Mini 7 when it comes out @ year end. The Mini is simply a great portable high performance device that sits between an iPhone & MBA M2 as a complimentary but not essential device for me.
