Kinda fell in love with the Mini when I saw so many Stanford students using early versions in 2015. Just got mine, nine years later. Cute cute cute.

I’m nearly in my 80s and watching. As a former techie, I know this will be my last computing device that will hold power for some of my computing tasks that I’ll retain and maintain.

I'd like to make an alternate recommendation in regards to the case/keyboard. Instead of getting an all-in one option, I found the ESR Rebound Series case for under $20 on Amazon. I also found a great Bluetooth keyboard from Moko for under $30 which is foldable so it takes up less space than the Mini when not in use. Both fit into my cross body sling (no bum or fanny involved) and are much less bulky than a keyboard case, plus the fact they are separate actually makes it easier for me to pack them. What's more, the keyboard turns off when folded, maximizing battery life between charges.

Magsafe adapter and a magsafe popsocket 🥰 for a more stable hold while also being able to remove it if you are going to put the ipad on a stand.

It’s from Orbitkey. They put out a limited edition all black release in saffiano leather a while ago. Still going strong after many years!

There’s a great bit in Hannah Gadsby’s “Douglas” about the different meanings of “fanny”, depending on which country’s version of English that you speak. Definitely worth a watch. Thanks for the content.

@@ThatMarkGilroy yes sir! Sometimes the angle can catch glare from particular overhead lights, but otherwise enjoyable.

to be honest if you don't need the pencil inclination feature you can just get any 5 dollar pen, same with the paper-like screen prootector.

I’ve tried some of the really cheap ones. They’re pretty nasty. This one feels just like the Apple Pencil other than the inclination.

Does the paperfeel screen protector move around when writing? Since it’s not sticky.

Hi Bryana. Depends on how you’re taking notes. In the b-roll here I was holding it up to show the camera with one hand and writing on it with the other, and there it did slip around a bit. But in a ‘real’ writing scenario when your palm is on the screen, it doesn’t move.

Your videos are getting SO much better!!!! (sorry, that makes me sound arrongant) This one is awesome - mostly because: - I'm cheap and everything is too spendy these days - I love my Ipad Mini - I agree with everything you say here... ! Great job - subscribing!

I’m a tad frustrated as a mini 5 owner. It’s getting quite long in the tooth, glass on the edges chipping and the case holding together exclusively on my own hopes and dreams at this point. I desperately need an upgrade and don’t know if I’m willing to wait another 6mos or longer for an update on the mini 7.

@SmokeyChipOatley Mate. I took the plunge with an 11” iPad Pro and it might be curtains for my 6th gen Mini. Time will tell but it’s long overdue some love from Apple.

Thanks buddy. The skin is from dbrand- it’s called ‘Swarm’. I like it because it adds some texture/grip to an otherwise slippery surface.
