@@darbstre2900 the sapphires were always junk, csgos crappy lighting hid that fact. Rubies are OP in cs2. They look great. Black Pearls are better but theyre still whatever.

I don’t understand the hate for the gamma dopplers, including the emerald. I think it looks 10x better than it ever did in GO.

Yeah, love that they've basically upped the, well Gamma of the skins.

It's rare, looks 100x better than a case hardened blue gem, and slowly there is more and more demand for it so everything is given for a new ''gem knife'' and I'm pretty sure the prices will go higher and higher over some time.

Valve is based for undercutting the blue gem market. Outside of a couple knives and patterns, most blue gems look like ass.

Exactly how did they fuck it up? It looks much better. They brightened most skin textures, including the dopplers... this one just looks better with it's lightened colours... much better.

while I agree they look better, people bought the skin expecting it to look a certain way (a dark green mostly), then when the new game dropped it no longer looks like what they purchased

its fucked up as in it doesnt look anywhere near like what it looked like in CSGO like most items do. I think it does look better, but at this point its really not even a gamma doppler anymore since its not the trademarked green

@@parkourguyyy what I think would be fked up was if they kept them the same and made new skins/patterns that looks way better taking away all the value from gamma dopplers. Now they can safely make new skins without having to worry if they look too good and would crash the market

Honestly I'm a fan of the diamond gem, this doesn't decrease the rarity or value of a blue gem just makes a cheaper option available for those that want a blue knife without paying hundreds of thousands.

LOL when Slaid’s video came out I made the guide just so I could personally use Ctrl F to find a good tier karambit because I was going to buy one. But it’s crazy to see people selling these for overpay. But I mean they do look really good. Slaid put in a ton of work for the karambit tier list as well as his new flip knife tier list!

I watch Slaid often and he makes great guides before anyone else does, I saw the T1 diamond concept way before everyone else was after it, makes me wish I wasn't so broke so I could've gotten my hands on one in market price

That tweet comparing the dopplers is so dishonest lmao. One in the darkest sewer, one in full brightness, that's so dumb 😂

I have an all blue inventory and the biggest mistake I have ever made was buying a talon knife marble fade instead of a karambit gamma doppler phase 1 right before the switch to CS2. In GO they looked so dark and dull I opted for the marble fade

People still think these are broken when they aren’t. You can check valve’s workshop guide when CS2 released. They even said for the lighting they won’t accept anything with a lower RGB value than 90. People just gonna have to deal with it, they look 100x better in CS2

I saw the slaid video literally the day he uploaded it but didn't buy because I was cautious about valve reverting the skins, now I feel a bit stumped.

I kinda miss some of the old gamma dopplers... There was this one beautiful bayo phase 4 that looked like a fire and ice but with green and black

the main reason it caught on was because the skins look amazing, but it wont undermine the case hardened market. the buying market of these diamond patterns hardly intersects the market for the blue gems.

right but the gammas look 10000000% better and you can't say I'm wrong, because they do, even the ring on the karambit is full blue unlike the 661 pattern for the blue gem karambit. these will sky rocket in price I know it. Unless valve fixes the skin itself which they probably won't.

@@skeezix5117 ofc these particular patterns look way better than the blue gems but still the blue gem buying market do not buy for the blue itself they buy for the fact that the patterns are incredibly popular and have a very long and deep history within the community, basically a status symbol. which is everything that these diamond gems do not currently have. in my opinion the t1 will probably not go too far past a ruby

i used to rock a blue tip butterfly gamma phase 1, almost completely aqua blue. it was beautiful. sold it when i quit the game tho

A bunch of butthurt crabs in the bucket who didnt buy when Valve lightened the colours on the dopplers. This was an update to the old lighting. Heyzeus is just stirring up the pot for popcorn headlines. Sad but he wouldnt be as popular if he didn't use these trashy gimmics.

I have a M9 FN Gamma doppler and I am fine with whatever. It looked really good when CS2 was released, it looks better when they changed it. Either way, if you do it just for the money then it is a different topic.

I mean they do look a bit better than normal phase ones and I mean there are people paying about double for better "real gem" petterns like for example saphires with no dark spots

The blue gem knifes are so rare I think they are safe it's just gonna bring up the phase 1

I liked the gamma dopplers since those were added. When I traded my Snow leopards and BK Stained for a M9 GD FN 0.001 Phase one, some friends thought I am insane (although cash price for both items it was pretty even with the M9). Now year and a half later the M9 is more than 20% higher. Just get what you like, despite what people say. I am glad I profited from my liking of a certain skin but I never really aimed at it. I was surprised why the price was getting higher and higher, now I know why. The skin looks way better in CS2.

The issue I see here is that valve messed up, but it is so late in the game now, that if they were to fix it they would be screwing over all the people who bought into the new fad. So do they really have a choice at this point?

All gamma dopplers are so oversaturated now, wtf. I used to love karambit gamma doppler, but now i would take even tiger tooth instead.

This was a fix... they lightened all the dopplers. Heyzeus is just drumming up drama by calling things broken... Exactly how is it broken when it looks better? The truth is it's only broken for the high teir collectors because it might impact their bottom lines. They are biased for a reason. Truth is Valve fixed the dopplers and some look better than others.

They are too bright and washed out. There is a fix but this is not it. Look for the video from Gemsri Gregory called "Gamma Dopplers & Marble Fade in CS2 (how they currently look vs. how they could look)". His version is a thousand times better than the mess we have now. You can clearly differentiate between phases and patters. Now they're so bright, that when I look at my dopplers it's like I'm getting flashbanged!

looks like valve finally FIXED this and restored the emeralds, ruby, sapphires.

i much prefer new doppler and gamma doppler
