When you say have "family view activated" do you mean as in make the icon is green at the top of steam at all times? Or just make sure you have family view on in general because they would have had to use the pin in this instance?

i got family mode and i lost 3 steam accounts, didnt click on any links or download anything i got thousands in my main steam account. Somehow the hackers had access to my email and my browser passwords sent codes to my emails and deleted them before i even knew what was up. Though my main steam account was protected by steam guard but family didnt protect me but it did protect me when somehow i had a similar experience to you but i had family view so all they did was change my name as they couldn't even see my games

When you enable Family View you create a 4-digit PIN. That PIN is used anytime you try to purchase something off the market/steam store or go to any other websites other than the steam integrated pages. The PIN could be brute forced but if a hacker has to deal with a PIN the chances of them brute forcing is less likely, especially considering the amount of accounts they may have access too.

Why does Steam not force you to authorize purchases out of the authenticator when using your wallet. Everything else, locked up tight. I complained about EXACTLY this and steam support just avoided the question.

My whole inventory was taken (411 items 4.5k value).. they trade offered from their account and accepted on mine. No steam guard or anything was touched Or notified.. ofc steam won't help

The ROI for the Killowatt cases are HOGWASH. I've spent like at least $700 on those cases alone and only pulled an inheritance ( which got scammed from me) and a black lotus.
