The Indonesian Psychiatrists Association classifies LGBT as mental disorders
Suzy Yusna Dewi, member of Indonesian Psychiatrists Association (PDSKJI), said the aforementioned sexual identities were often triggered by external factors such as a person's social environment, and therefore, they could be healed through psychiatric treatment. The PDSKJI defines homosexuals and bisexuals as “people with psychiatric problems” while transgender people have “mental disorders”. The classifications are in stark contrast to those of the World Health Organization (WHO), which removed homosexuality from its list of psychiatric disorders on May 17, 1990.

There are gay people who try to follow their religion belief, but still feel the attraction towards the same sex and not to the opposite sex throughout their lives. Why are there people with no hands or legs, children suffering from cancer? Because it is not a perfect world. If only you can help them grow legs or hands.. If only you can help them straight. It is just hard being them. You can give them artificial hands or legs, and there are cases where you get cure from cancer. There are bi-sex. These people can seem to be normal, have relationship with a woman or man. How about those who are not? They have to repress their sexual attraction throughout their lives. Just understand how hard it is. These people are real.

LGBTQ my belief from studies the Romans went through the same process right about when things became just too easy for people they didn’t go through any hardships like getting drafted/ war. Ever heard the phrase “you can’t have too much of one thing” you need a perfect balance of good times and bad times or else everyone just goes crazy like the lgbtq community who’s just looking for trouble just because they don’t really have nothing to truly complain about. We’ve given them almost everything they’ve asked for but they’re still depressed? As per the definition of mental illness, mental illness is something which are health conditions involving changes in emotion, thinking or behavior (or a combination of these). Mental illnesses are associated with distress and/or problems functioning in social, work or family activities. ( Cited from - American Psychiatric Association, what is mental illness, Ranna Parekh, M.D., M.P.H.) Homosexuality does not cause any sort of distress or problems in their functioning in social, work or family activities. Neither cause a harm or distress instead benefit the society by giving a life to foster kids in general. More over, APA quotes that, no researches found any sort of inherent association with psychopathology and homosexuality. It is a natural and normal deviant of human sexuality. (Cited from - American Psychological Association. (2008, October 29). Answers to your questions for a better understanding of sexual orientation and homosexuality.) If there is no inherent association with psychopathology, then why is it called mental illness??
