Still slott has to happen for that. Richardson has to be CJ Stroud maybe but still unproven. Hurt so much that he got hurt last season needs the work

​@@allensaunders449 A lot has happened. If that team stays healthy they will be the team that the Chiefs, Houston, and the Jags don't wanna play. I don't put much stock into what Tennessee has done. That defense should be top 5 if healthy. The new line will help the CBs. The young CBs, Brents and Flowers need to be healthy. Both are good. Especially JuJu. The linebacker room is looking more like a Tony Dungy line racket room. Safeties converting to LB. This will be a very fast defense. I believe Latu will be fine. Unlike Manning he has youth on his side and did great his last 2 seasons of college. The biggest if is Richardson.

It all depends on if they can stay healthy. It feels like injuries kill us every year.

Facts

If AR stays healthy, the Colts win the AFC South this year and will be VERY dangerous in the playoffs.

I'm looking forward to this season. I hope they can live up to your hype.

Colt's secondary has been a constant nightmare for the last 4 years. Couple the lack of stopping 3rd & 4th down attempts and 2 years of terrible quarterbacks, we were humiliated against the Cowboys and Vikings. Secondary will save us some points and Kenny Moore II can't do it all.

As long as AR stays healthy I think they are definitely a playoff team and should be competitive against the division….. damn it….. now my hopes are up…. That can’t be good 😌

Hopes are good. A great season is coming !!

Staying healthy is the key for the Colts. It seems each year the Colts suffer key injuries which hinder their ability to win games. Looking forward to seeing how much improvements the rookies of 2023 make during their second year in the league.

I wish that I was as optimistic as you when it comes to the Colts' secondary.

Its a hope. 1st thing is can A.R stay on the field? This has been a huge weight on the team for yrs. Our division has really gotten stronger. Its gonna be a big battle.

Ballard's Job should be tied directly to the success of this season.

Honestly, you didn’t even talk about the O line that just looks really strong right now. The run-pass option plays are going to be lethal with that combined with JT and AR. Also the play design was great last year. Need to keep that up. But gotta admit Safety is WEAK ASF. Needs some help…

I'd put the Colts over/under at 10.5 wins this year. I'm expecting them to win the division by a small margin over Houston.

I think the Colts will have a surprisingly good season. The team is well rounded with few holes. AR is the biggest wildcard.. how well will he play and can he stay healthy. Picking up Joe Flacco was a great underrated pick up this offseason, if AR goes down they should still be pretty good.

I think the Colts have a really good team and lineup on both sides of the ball. My main concern is that they might run to many RPO's and AR choosing to run when it's not really called for. IF I was calling the plays, I would cut back on them a little at the beginning of the year and let AR's arm and Taylors legs do most of the work and then later in the season, say the last 5 games or so, then start going to RPO's more. By going to them later in the season, the Colts may have a better chance of catching defenses off guard and have better success with it. I see the Colts going at least 10-6 this year and winning the division.

I don’t think Colts did enough on the defensive side of the ball. Our offense is too good for the defense to let them down, letting teams score 30+ points

I think we're going to click around game 5. Alot of youth with a lot of hunger. With Joe Flacco guiding AR. We're going to battle with Houston!

I think we click a lot faster than that. It might take AR two games to get used to everything again, but the best part about not having a ton of FA pickups is we resigned a TON of our own players and we are using the exact same scheme

Risky health players is a gamble. Richardson will have company on injury list from this group.

Richardson at best is an unknown. Temper any expectations, he demonstrated he is uber athletic nothing else.

Richardson hasn't even played 2 games in a row without getting taken out for an injury. If he doesn't start being a pocket passer, they wont go to the playoffs, let alone win anything significant. Only 3 QBs in Indy have won a playoff game/ games with the Colts (not in Baltimore) and they were all pocket passers

They need a te and better defenses.

No pass coverage. Kenny moore is 30 now, Jaylon Jones played awful last year, Rodney Thomas has yet to do anything meaningful and the linebacking group is great at stuffing the run, terrible at pass coverage. The only quality player in pass coverage is Juju and even hes not exactly established yet

Jaylon Jones didn't play awful and you are forgetting Dallas flowers was hurt all last year , colts should have had Isiah Rodgers and Dallas flowers last year and the secondary would have looked alot different. I think Darrell baker played alot worse than jj

You are forgetting Dallis Flowers who was having an excellent season till he was injured. Their secondary is not as bad as you are making it sound. Brents was a injured rookie who will certainly be better. The Colts also added Jaylin Simpson through the drafted and are high on. You also considering Laiatu / Ebukan on the edges should make it so the secondary doesn't need to cover as long.

JJ was a rookie and inconsistent… yet according to PFF he was 6th in coverage. Upside is there 🙌

Their QB is a medical patient with a hobby. They need a QB, and apparently, it's going to take them 5 years to even know it. They will win 8 or 9 games.
