Gould will impact at WR more than you anticipate. And unlike Mckenzie he is a deep threat to go along with being able to play inside and outside. Remember thats all Bruce Arians thought we were getting with TY was a special teams guy. Turned out way better.

Im wondering if they are looking at Carlies becoming a Will linebacker? Or is this more of what they already have Ronnie Harrison doing?

outside of the secondary, i genuinely don't see a hole on this roster. Maybe you could be nitpicky and say linebacker depth behind EJ and Zaire,. Maybe the tight end room, but there is young talent there. Even with the secondary there are talented young guys like Juju and Jaylon jones coming off rookie seasons where they showed flashes,. Safety is kind of weak with Rodney Thomas and Julian Blackmon coming off injury. Outside of the secondary i think the front 7 can be an elite unit in the NFL. they set a franchise record for sacks in a season last year, and just added the best pure pass rusher in this class. Deforest Buckner is a top player at his position, Grover Stewart is one of the best run stoppers in the NFL, and Zaire might be the most underrated linebacker in the league. On offense, we have one of the best O lines, One of the best running backs, and a great young WR core. Pittman is a top 15 WR, Josh downs can develop into a good slot guy, and [Pierce/Mitchell can be a good outside option opposite of Pittman. Pierce will improve as a deep threat with a quarterback with he arm to take deep shots. the success of this team really depends on Anthony Richardson. Of he can play on the level he did last year and stay healthy, this team will be scary.. Even the special teams are great with Sanchez punting the ball and Matt Gay kicking, both top guys are their positions. This team should easily be playoff contenders. I'd even say they could be a dark horse super bowl team if everything goes right.

I have a bad feeling about the DE we drafted with Latu. I like the pick but we have a bad time picking DEs in the first round. Just go back to the 1992 draft and you will see the DE the Colts drafted and you will see why I am worried. Most DEs we drafted in the first round didn't do amazing at all.

Dwight Freeney is a HOFer drafted in top 10 by Polian who traded up to get him.

I really belive Ballard had his best draft he truly is on the hot 🔥 seat but I really do belive in AR I think we need a vet safety an maybe a vet corner but Safety is big let's give everybody lock jaw go Colts Nation

I also think that the colts got Micah Abraham to be a great #2 slot corner behind Kenny Moore just in case he needs a breather. I really do think that all of them can contribute right away as well. The 1 thing that Ballard has always done that’s consistent besides getting athletic freaks is making each position very competitive and making a difficult decisions on cutting players. Specially when only a certain amount of players can be on the practice squad. Can’t wait for football season! Let’s Go Colts! #ForTheShoe 🐎

@@mr.khalilbashir yup. Latu, Abraham, AD, and Gould are my main 4 that I’m keeping a close eye on. I think they can impact the team right away. For Goncalves I’ll be keeping an eye on him differently. Mostly to see where will he be a backup to. Will he battle Freeland to be the backup for Branden Smith or battle Jake Witt and be the backup for Bernhard Raimann?? 🤔

@@jordankennerknecht4929 I think Gould is a bit more than just a special teams guy. People are going to find out before long. I think they are going to have to incorporate him in some games over Dulin depending on the matchup.

@@mr.khalilbashir that’s literally what I was thinking about. I can see him, Dulin and Downs rotate in the slot or him, Pittman and Pierce rotate on who will be on the outside

I’m a colts fan and I’m sleep. Hope they wake me up this season. Definitely not about to get my hopes up though
