Some good work! Have you ever used "Bifida" cup soles? If seem some cobblers use that, but it does cost more.

What’s the point of stitching a sole to a fake welt that isn’t stitched to the upper? Kick a rock and your sole is gone with the welt attached to it.

The fake welts just look cool that’s the only reason they’re there plus it’s more surface area for the glue to stick to
