Whites Boots ASMR Resole - Whites new moc toe was the winner of the Moctober series and so when they told me they were releasing a black verison of the perry boot for black friday I decided it was a good time to make the all black moc toe i've been looking for for year. I'm 100% not a cobbler but I think this is a project most people could do at home with the right tools. So I thought I would make this video and try another ASMR video after the success of the how to clean your moc toe boots vides.

Hope you guys like this vid! I'm hoping these ASMR style videos will give me the excuse to work on some more personal projects like these boots! I've been wanting a pair of high quality all black moc toe boots for years!

Boots are surprisingly fun and pleasant to wear if you’re used to just random athleisure sneakers or sth, also they look dope as shit fashion-wise in practically any outfit - give them a go some day!

If you have the money for high quality boots, they are worth it. A good pair of work/street boots and a good pair of rougher leather hiking boots will last you for a long time if you wear sneakers inbetween. I have a pair of Haitz boots for general use and trail running, and although they arent the highest quality they have lasted me 6 years. I have a pair of Solovairs just for looks and for working in the lab. depending on the style you get boots can be very good looking in the work place.

Boots are great to wear, especially once you find the right one for you. I wear boots as much as I can now. I even wear them with my suit too.
I have to say... If you ever go into boot making, you will have quite a following and major success with all the knowledge you have and the quality you present here. All black boots are a rarity as it is, for some reason. These looks absolutely perfect. The oxidization trick is just 400 IQ, and the hand stitching, my goodness... The end product is probably worth at least $500. Bravo mister Rose, bravo.
You just made security guards around the world smile...

Dude, respect for doing this all by hand due to the lack of some of the specialized tools. This would take me DAYS considering how long it takes me to make 1 single leather wallet/organizer. Loved this!!!

You could just dye the sole black and be done in 30-40 min tops.
here I am watching a vid on something I will never do with a pair of boots - instead of doing what I should be doing tonight which is studying for a major exam tomorrow. But I just can't resist watching a Rose Anvil master class video.

Mad props for hand stitching the midsole and paying tribute to Steve 😉
Been waiting for them to introduce these in black. Just ordered a pair. Can’t beat the sale price.
Did Mr. „Shank-All-The-Things“ just resole another boot, that had a shank before, without one?

I guess you could call that leather filled midsole a "leather shank" if you wanted. Especially with that wedge sole it's going to be a pretty stiff boot anyway.

Love the cobbler content! The boots look great! I really like the project videos like the fixing the issues with docs video and the infamous croc martins haha
Personally, I liked the boots with the white thread showing. That being said, excellent work
Always love boot resole videos. This looks very satisfying and rewarding but i'm sure it's really challenging
Absolutely stunning video and even more, STUNNING boot! If they sold like ‘that’, all blacked out, they’d be on my toesies right now. The book looks great! Excellent effort and end product.
I love how educational these videos are!
Very nice ! Awesome transformation ! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Whew, those look mad fresh. Deadly dude! Nice work.
Great work!!!
Beautiful!! I was just about to order my pair and was looking for your vid that had the sizing. All blacked out looks awesome.
Loved seeing the process and knowing what tools you used.
Was waiting for these in black. Just ordered a pair through your link. "Thanks for all that you do."
Love these boot builds/resole videos!!!! Keep em coming. I’m just getting into hand resolving and would love some tile on how to do it without special equipment!
All out black! Great job man!
This ended up soooo good!! Great work!
They look great! Your effort was worth every second, If White offered a black option like this I'd be ordering NOW!
Those things look amazing! What a collab
Like the video! Not the all black though. Think it looked great with the white stitching and black sole.
You resole boots now? That's pretty cool, glad to see you're branching out.
You make this look easy! Great work!
These are amazing!
Fun project. I'd happily watch more like this.
These came out great!
Another awesome video time for coffee cigar and relax with this master
Amazing skill involved here..Love this channel.
looove the way they came out!
That was utterly fascinating. It really made me appreciate your craft.
Ooooo I've been genuinely looking into making myself a pair of boots and this is the bit that confused me most about the whole process, so it's great to see such an in depth process of it

That's FRACK'N AWESOME! Great work! Excellent video! Very inspirational! I've been looking for black, steel toe, moc toes for a while and have be thinking of doing exactly this with the Vibram Montagna black lug soles. Thank you sir!
All of my favorite youtube channels are friends! This is amazing! Let's continue hahaha
Looks great!
Of COURSE you had to pick the White's brand to do the monochrome blackouts!!! Looks awesome!

amazing job! If it were mine I probably would have left the eyelets and stitching in white to create contrasts. Hope you enjoy your unique custom pair!
E X T R E M E ! --- Last week I bought Iron Ranger 8084 in RED WING Berlin Mitte Store and let the master make it all black. Picked them up yesterday eve after work! I swear I never have seen any nicer boot in my whole life! --- Best Moc Toe I have seen!
Okay those look badass.
From very classic looking moc toe boots to kitchen crew looking shoes. Good work for being limited on tools.
What styles of boots (ex. trench, moc toe, chelsea, etc.) do you think you’ll release with when you start making/selling your own?
I like the boots. Good job
I have so many questions haha.. but the video is amazing. Fresh to see you do something different and great end product. Maybe an IG post on the deconstruction and why you choose each material?
I thought I would have liked it more, I have bin thinking of a blacked out red wing but seeing your video i think I would leave it alone. Great video 👍

They look killer
Looked SO badass with the un painted eyelets and the white stitching 💯💯💯
Wow that's a huge improvement bro you're a wizard
These are killer. I had my Thorogoods resoled with the black sole. It changed the whole look of the boot.
I doubt I would ever resole a pair of boots, yet I find this video oddly satisfying haha
It came out really good. Only thing I would change would be those flat laces.
Sweet! They're gorgeous af! Now if more bootmakers would just pay attention and manufacture something like this...
Looks much better. I’d buy that boot

What A Cool Video , I Wish You Would Do More Of These Too.
I'm thinking about buying a pair of these (but not resoling/dyeing, lol). How do you feel about the black in its stock format vs the brown Perrys?
Do you think the wire brush method you used to rough up the leather for good glue adhesion could be used to put a rough out style texture on the boot upper if done with care?
Weston: “Use good ventilation!” Also Weston: Uses really strong smelling adhesive in a small filming room with the door closed while even I’m getting a headache from the fumes in a different room through two closed doors. 🤦🏼♀️ On a more important note than worrying about Weston’s brain cells, those in all black are SEXY.

Fine work lad. Fine work.
Great video. Would love to see more projects like this. I have one question though, leather middles and filler but rubber outsole. Why not go all the way with a leather sole?
I love the process... but I thought I would love the result more than I actually do.
Loved the do-over. Much better looking than the originals. Did you do the do-over? If so, you've become quite the cobbler!!!
So relax
Thanks to you guys I recently discovered both Nicks and White's are not only in the same state I reside but are also located minutes from each other. I'll have to make a day trip after these weird times are over to handle some before I buy. Sir Anvil if you were to choose between one brand over the other from what you have personally seen, which would you go with?
Yours look much better. The stitches did it for me. How creative to dye the light stitches. How do they feel to wear them?
I’m in awe
Those do look much better!
Love it!
Thanks for your videos. How would you compare the black leather with the brown leather on the White's? Is the black leather as thick as the brown? Is the black smoother or pebbled?
Very Classy! The only reason why I liked the Thursdays more was because of the black option. This is definitely my dream work boot now....
Love the vids been watching them for almost a year

Wait, you took out the cork? Isn't that needed to get the sole to conform to your foot shape over time and make the boots more comfortable?
The Black looks good.
Yes! More cobbler clips please. Did someone say murdered out yet
How has the dye held up over time on the stitches? Guessing with so many boots these don't see much use. Was thinking of dying some of the stitching on a black pair of Thorogood moc toes.
Nice job! And where do they sell these in the Netherlands again (the murdered pair)?
Really nice. Why did you replace the cork with leather and if that is more comfortable or what?
The Reveal music gets me every time.
I’m 100% positive you made Steve smile with tat reference lol
I have trouble with any boots compressing too much due to the fiber board. Would this be changed by buying a boot that has a leather insole and a leather filler instead of cork?
Best shoe cleaning tutorial I've seen.
