The importance of psychological safety

The lack of psychological safety makes difficult conversations more difficult, impedes innovation, affects team performance and undermines learning and change. Even more so, it can be plain tragic. When there is no psychological safety we tend not to discuss mistakes and we avoid questioning others who may need to be questioned. In this video I offer some examples of both psychological safety and the lack of and I invite you to try and learn more about the topic. Improving psychological safety is a good strategy to enhance learning, improve performance and lear organizational change.
