Owning a levitation spell tome is the most victimless crime in Tamriel

Tell that to the guards who had no bows/spells in morrowind. Yeah owning it is notthebad part, using it for levitation crime is illegal.
Good to know that the immersive weapons mod makes it possible to experience the illegality of daedric crescents again

Honestly that mod's meshes are so low quality I got rid of it, lol.
Baby mammoth fur is also illegal to import, at least in Deshaan in the ESO years. Just remembered this out of nowhere and wanted to share
Imagine if the racism was enforced in Skyrim. You play as a beast race, you have to sneak into cities. It would be a great alternative to "legendary" difficulty.

There are, indeed, canonical furries in Tamriel. And no, I'm not talking about the existence of anthropomorphic animal races, I mean there are people who dress up in animal costumes (fursuits basically) as a hobby in Tamriel. There's a quest about it in ESO.

@@ImperialKnowledge The quest is called The Skin Trade offered by a wood elf named Menninia. There's more information on UESP under the article Online: Menninia. I would send a link, but KZread doesn't really like those in the comments.

Like The One Ring Elder Scrolls seem to have a will of their own.If burying them in a secret tomb with Serana,or hiding them in Blackreach or The Soul Cairn cannot keep them from fulfilling their purpose I doubt any Imperial Edicts will.

Granted, Blood Elder Scroll was only founded because Vigils is a stupid organisation that is bad at its job
If I'm not mistaken, flight magic, and subsequently any books on flight magic, would also be considered illegal in many, if not all parts of Tamriel

Right! So much information! Love these videos so much
Maybe a weird request: could you maybe do a Video about resurrection in the Elder Scrolls? Because it feels like something that works in TES, but seamingly isn't a part of it. Most prominently, Alduin brings the dead Dragons back to live, and while I previously thought, that it makes sense, since TES Dragons are beings outside of time, I recently watched a Video on the shout He uses, that apparently just turns time back, so it _could_ work on other species (provided you have a perfect understanding of time and death, like Alduin has)? Some of the daedra, especially Molag Bal, seem to love bringing people back, either as living or undead. Individuals like Wulfharth and the Nerevarine apparently were brought back several times. In early Lore, priests in temples could apparently resurrect dead people, and it seems there is at least one case in the current Lore, where a priest resurrected a dead Boy. And hagravens can apparently also resurrect the reachfolk, though I read somewhere, that their resurrection spell is an instant version of the briarheart ritual? And then I recently found the Song "Pray to the Hunter", where in its music video, it seems like the man is resurrected at the end. And from what little I was able to find, it seems like the Song is canon?
I only took skooma in Morrowind. Oblivion and Skyrim were clean playthroughs.
Thanks yo! that end part helps a lot with my story
Just wanted to reach out and say I appreciate you and your videos, and the work you put into them.
Thats (again) exactly the kind if videos i wanna watch 😊

Well that's what life in the middle of nowhere is like. Sherrif basically says "don't murder or steal, no buzz off cuz I have better things to do" and he gets REAL annoyed when some city slicker in a fancy German car rolls up to complain Jebjeb's chicken coop is violating an obscure land ordinance. Its also why rural people love Castle Doctrine so much

So wait when where the dwemer artifacts and dwemer metal illegal time frame wise going by the image of the dwemer strut in the picture because If it was the 4rth era dragon born is a smuggler and a grifter and a distributor and racketeer outside the thieves guild and so are the people who are blacksmiths in Skyrim that sell dwarven metal ingots dwarven swords and shit like that
@TheRealLumpySpirit
7 ай бұрын
In Morrowind you get told it’s illegal by NPCs. Though… there’s nothing actually stopping you from picking up Dwemer artifacts and selling them to regular merchants, since it’s not treated like a crime in programming. Since Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion all take place within a relatively short timespan, I’d assume the ban on artifact sales would be in place around that time. Skyrim takes place 200 years after Oblivion, which is plenty of time for the law to be repealed. Or perhaps the law is still in place but is never called upon due to poor enforcement like previous games
